My experience of living in fairhope Alabama is that there's 2 types of people . People that have money and people that want you to think they have money
Well, that’s a little broad. There are many neighborhoods in Fairhope with homes for sale that are similar in price than the rest of Baldwin. Define “have money”. They make a great living? What’s that amount? They have a lot of money in the bank? What number constitutes having money?
I'm considering moving the family there. We visited for a week and started to realize...no "massage parlors" that are obvious fronts for something else, no "gentlemen's clubs" (though I'm sure they're in Mobile, no adult stores on every block like Gatlinburg has decided to do. Your coffee scene is phenomenal. The only place I've been that rivals it is Vermont but without the Vermont politics. I think I want my kids growing up here.
Most would think that they would be worse but they’re not. I do know that they spray for them. I haven’t been bitten this year. Come to think of it, I haven’t even noticed one.
I love your little town / but I hope and pray it stays small / no traffic / slow pace of living / to me and my husband it’s heaven on earth / we live 15 minutes out side Atlanta / I own a barbershop / I would love to retire there / money’s good with more people but it destroyed Gwinnett Co.
Your sentiments ring out among many people, Jackie. It is growing but I don’t see becoming anything near the Atlanta area. Hoping to keep it quaint and charming. Thanks for messaging!

I moved here from the east coast in VA and NC (right on the state line). The difference in the areas are night and day.
Are the mosquitos manageable?

Sadly, up here in Canada we are frightened by your state.
Are you right wing Christian fundalmentalists?
Are we wrong?
Not everyone but I am. There’s nothing to be afraid of though.
Stay in Canada. You're not welcome here. We like the Constitution and God.
