We Got Scammed, Was It A Mistake?

- We are new growing a garden. About two months ago we purchased all of our plants. We purchased jalapeño peppers, corn, tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, and several other plants. We just found out the other day that the jalapeño peppers we purchased was not jalapeño peppers. Was somebody joking around or was it just truly accident?

You’re right Brandon, those people who make nasty comments, especially about the children, cannot be part of your daily dedicated followers. Your kids are special and unique, each in their own way, just as everyone of our children are. You and Steph are awesome parents, teaching your kids responsibility, learning farming, compassion for the animals..not to mention having the kiddos involved in sports, etc. The haters are sad people who can’t hold a candle to you all.

Brandon there is a big difference between friendly advice and nasty comments. No one has the right to be nasty. This is yours and Steph channels and you are doing your very best. You have a great fan base and the ones that are negative do not have your best interest at heart. Your lives are a proof that your true fans are loyal. There’s never a negative comment when you go live. Keep doing what your doing.

As the mother of two special needs kids I've had to put up with ugly people also we lost our daughter many years ago and our son has grown into a father and grandfather his life isn't easy but he has a great job and we are very proud of him. You are giving your kids a great life and I love how patient you are. We have two granddaughters with speech impediments one rescues horses and one is a long haul trucker. With the support of family everything is possible!

The peppers look like banana peppers.. which are mild and good in salads, or to be pickled.. some look ready to pick too. You might like them. They will be yummy for salads. (you can bless the neighbors.. lol) BTW, we love you and the kids. They are so precious and wonderful. You are a beautiful family and your love for your babies shows on every hand. Your animals show the tenderness too. It reflects the love of the Lord over your whole little farm.
They are really good pickled whole and eaten with B-B-Q, too! at least, I think so.

Maybe next year in your garden you might check with Jason at Cog Hill. He uses those soaker tapes so can control watering direct to plants. Seems like he can reuse year after year. He also uses that barrier black cloth too and saves hours of weeding

For a first time farmer I’m impressed! The garden is looking great! I’m pretty sure those are banana peppers not jalapeños. I love to pour hot vinegar over my peppers and jar them. As far as all the kids I really enjoy watching them. Why anyone would have a negative remark about them is ridiculous. Good grief I was In speech until I was grown. You have a very sweet family just keep doing you!

The garden is looking awesome. Just a word of advice, be careful soaking the tomato plants. Too much water can induce blight.
also shouldn't water in morning...plants can get burnt from the sun when leaves are wet ...water or soak after sun starts going down
Too much water can cause the tomatoes to swell up, burst their skin and cause those ugly cracks in them.

I remember the video of Kayson stepping in front of Addison repeatedly. I laughed outloud because it reminded me of my childhood. There was six of us kids and someone was always acting up. Haters need to look at themselves before passing judgement on you
A lot of kids with speech impediments are shy and reserved because of bullying. It's great to see yours are exuberant and chatty about the things they like to do and the chores they have! They will overcome anything life throws at them because they are not afraid to speak! Good job, Mom and Dad!

I would and am proud of knowing of a family that is instilling values that will carry them through life. Kayson has really stepped into a young man that has found something that he loves. Ive seen that in Missouri where the cotton farmers grade their fields on a very small slopping grade. They have pumps at the high end and they turn on the well pumps and use a soaker hose with holes in it to soak the top row. Then the water flows down the rest of the field some time acres and acres long. It's fascinating.

I went to our local Running's Hdwe store, farm store, etc ........but I had wanted cucumber plants and ended up with zucchini squash. They had high school kids working in the garden center and they miss marked things. I wasn't the only one it happened to.
I had never had zucchini before, so it was a new experience.

My boys had speech impediments both got much better from therapy. One had a hearing loss and it affected how he heard . Both are grown and have very productive professions. We love seeing all the kids. They all have their special personalities.

2 years ago we bought beef stake tomatoes at ACE hardware and Walmart...all plants from the same producer... every plant was cherry tomatoes.. it happened to several people we know 😂
Just block the rude people, it’s your channel. If you remove the seeds from some of the jalapeño peppers you can use the seeds later. If you want the flavor without the heat remove all the white veins and seeds from the peppers. I love your family and the kids are precious. Thank you for sharing them and all the animals with us.

Brandon and Steph, no one should ever say anything bad about the kids or how you attend to or raise them! They should totally be ashamed of their words. I would just say to those negative and rude comments, especially to the ones concerning the children that your words are rude and hurtful and children take those words and feel bad about themselves.
