You are unable to utilize an OEM 2014+ fob on your Silverado. Our fobs have specialized electronics that allow them to work on the older vehicles. Our fobs do not come with the Chevy bowtie on the back. The only way to achieve this would be to swap the internals from our fob into an OEM shell.
