    Thanks for your videos,
Great tip on the Minimum cutting radius I adjusted one of my Cams & have saved 21 min in real machine time, Gotta be happy with that!

Instead of setting your model bottom below the stock you might want to add a negative Stock To Leave instead. If you are using other features, such as tabs, changing the bottom height may impact other operations especially if you're using rest machining I've found. Not necessarily applicable to single op machining but it's bit me before.

Out of curiosity, why not turn on smoothing? Would it not replace those straight line segments in the circular holes with arcs, thus avoiding faceting?

Any chance we can see the cam in action? Thanks!

How often can you choose 3D machining operations on not exactly "3D machining" parts? Any major downfalls to selecting 3D more often than not?

Could use 3D constant Z to clean up all the walls quicker than doing it with contour

2:36 Minimum Cutting Radius must always set to zero. If you have an 5mm Endmill and an radius of 2.5 it will not be milled on the maschine if you set this not to zero. Or in small sections the endmill will not move to this areas...many problems so i set it always to zero !

If you want to make you understand, you have to stay a few more seconds in the operations you are explaining. If you do not want to make you understand then it's all perfect.

NYC CNC then flip over and machine the back off? he'd not allowed for stock to hold..

You skipped over the simulation but I think I see the helical ramp plunge is still the first operation. Why is this so? why does it not do the slotting first? and then the length to plunge would be so much less.

Because there's nothing allowing the toolpath to exceed the outer profile boundary. So it needs to start inside the part first and helix down to reach Z depth.

It's entertaining, but not for beginners.

Lots of good info here! However to brand this is CAM for Beginners is ridiculous.

I'm a beginner and your video was way to fast and assumed I knew what you were talking about. Good try though.
