👋🙂Just found your channel, thanks for sharing ❣ I've made this before but with a different recipe, your way looks so much tastier and will definitely be trying it out 🥰👍 Cheers 🍻
As a bartender, if I ran out of Baileys I just mixed Irish Mist with a little bit of Kahlua and cream. Not enough time to do all of this, and it tastes much more like the real thing-
Made this today, oh my, only half your amount of whiskey, thank goodness! Blew my top off!! Sitting with a hot chocolate. It was terrible Rik, it wouldn't all fit in the bottle x
Oh boy ❣️ this definitely gonna make me happy too ! 😂😂 Off to the market I go to buy ingredients. Gonna make it for my son and his partner ❤️ they love Bailey's. I feel they're gonna love your recipe from now on 😉. Thank you for sharing 🌷
Good job brother it’s almost July here. While I’m a carnivore lifestyle guy now and feeling great, I would use real cane sugar and forget about the harmful fake sugars as previously suggested, a treat once in the while won’t kill you, but following the SAD (standard American diet) will, everybody. Here is mostly morbidly obese and diabetic.. sad as most of it is preventable and reversible without medications… thanks for the entertaining video
Hi Candy thanks for stopping by. Store in the fridge - if it splits shake well...serve. As far as keeping - Ive never kept any passed a week to be honest - i usually make just ahead of time and serve it out of the fridge cold - delicious !
@@BackyardChef i just tried the Irish Cream its some awesome in taste just a bit more thinner i feel...any suggestions...else all loved it the way it came
Forget your Irish Cream. Check out the Scottish Athol Brose. It will drag your IC down an alley, beat the snot out of it and steal its wallet. Athol Brose is absolutely sensational by comparison. IC is really nice, no arguments but AB is way WAY top shelf in comparison.
Yes there is a saving- use any whiskey of your choice even if its cheap - the coffee the cream - this is delicious! A tad expensive. Hope you give it a try! Put a couple of cubes in the glass if you like. Best, Rik
If i pour this into a bottle that had Original Baileys in, without washing out the bottle, would that be ok? Or would i have to wash the bottle out first? Can i use Cocoa powder instead of choc syrup? Thank you.
Then you need to * drop the condensed sweeten milk * add sugar, cocoa and heavy cream in a pot and boil the thing Basically you are replacing the sweeten choco syrup and the sweeten condensed milk.
I like Baileys but it's quite expensive. So I buy Eierlikör which is a type of Eggnog that costs 75% less than Baileys and it's already a very good drink and I add cocoa powder, instant coffee, and cream. There are cheaper Irish Cream brands but they're too sweet for my taste.
Oh shucks! I never knew this. No wonder I've got the perfect tasting Homemade Baileys Irish Cream, however the texture/consistency never came out right. Thank you for that reminder!
HI Courtney - yes stick it in the fridge - ha ha ha yes the car is on there - folks see me driving around - and you never know Mr Toyota might like to upgrade me from old banger to a banger. One can hope! Nice to have you on here - keep safe !
TOOOOOO much sugar . Use erythritol and or stevia and use cocoa powder instead of syrup and use plain heavy cream instead of sweetened condensed milk . Sorry for trolling
Your right -I put it in an old Whiskey Bottle with one of those stopper top things that they have in - so basically i recycled an old whiskey bottle - i can tell you after the video was upped the stopper thing came out - pours so easily!
@@BackyardChef But looks nice and creamy, first im seeing this, what do you think is it because the way you made the coffee or more because of the whipping cream?
@@BackyardChef Gave no *uck and made this today buying the cheapest whisky (0,7l for 10 bucks) at my local store and used ur technique on the coffee to make a 0,7l bottle of this drink. Honestly im always sceptical about these home crafted copycat products but Its amazing and I can make like 4 bottles from this for 1/5 of an actual Baileys price. I'll never buy the real thing again.
@@szkokee Absolutely amazing! Well done! You know there are many many copycat recipes on the tube and you can see that most folks have never cooked in the work place - they are copycat home cooks - now nothing wrong with that ! Tried your recipe. Perfect! 2nd batch I used Brandy and added 1 tbsp Salted Caramel. Pretty good too! Thank you for your idea!

I just did this and the taste is great ! But i think i should keep the bottle in the fridge right ?
Yes. Best, Rik
Thank you Chef 😍
How long does it keep in the fridge? A week? There's cream involved so I'm thinking no more than a week
Agreed! Thank You. Best, Rik
One of my favorites with crushed ice

Fantastic! Do you have to store in the fridge. How long does it keep?
Yes store in the fridge - one night ha ha ha. Sorry joke - I make when I know I have folks coming round. Thank you. Best, Rik
Alright, another Bailey’s recipe to try. It’s looks like a good mixture. Will it remain homogeneous during storage?
not always - give it a shake!

Do you have it with cream or without? - I like it with. Probably make a quick vid thanks for the mind jog! Best, Rik
😂
With the heavy cream being perishable, does it need refrigerating?
Yes! Thank you. Best, Rik
TY!!@ 😊👄😁💖
Does one drop ice into it? Is it nicer than a bought one? Is there any money saving? Down under a 700ml bottle of Baileys costs AU. $38.00.

Hi Roo - Ive never used cocoa powder so i cant help you with that one. As far as pouting into the bottle that is your choice i would but hey.

How long does this homemade recipe last? Does it need to be refrigerated?
It does - its cream. Thank you. Best, Rik
I’ve made your recipe and used Peanut Butter whiskey and all I can say is....let’s hope I don’t become an alcoholic 🤣. Delicious recipe, thanks!
Thanks Emma for your feedback - really appreciate your comment - nothing wrong in a tipple - go steady!

People, don't forget that a silverware eating tablespoon varies in size and does not equal a measuring tablespoon for cooking.
