Absolutely magnificent. The ceilings are beyond beautiful. The energy they hold could tell a million secrets. I adore the almost hidden doorway to the children's room, which I'd make a gym. The placement of the stairway out of view in the main space is perfect. My main concerns are ventilation of the kitchen, ventilation of bedrooms 1 & 2 between the bathroom steam and bedroom ceilings and maintenance of such a glorious property. I think as an offshore purchaser, the new owner is duty bound to preserve the heritage of that building. Everything about it, especially the design, screams original. I really love it.
Simultaneously great and cozy, Colin! Still haven't figured out a concrete definition of a douiria. So, the million dirham question: what exactly is adouiria? Best regards as always.
@Bashir-Farah Thank you, Bashir-Farah! I had a feeling it was a separate, distinct part of a large house. Here in the United States it is commonly called a "mother-in-law apartment." Thanks again and best regards.
@@danielwardin3609 A douria is an apartment, often attached to a major Riad. Usually a space for older parents or esteemed guests. Usually the best rooms in the house! A granny flat with bells on.

It just means it’s an apartment. Not all words in other languages have an exact translation in to English.
@@keithss67 Thanks, Keith!
@Bashir-Farah there we go! The definitive answer 😎😎😎
