This pedal is so complete, i don't know why people just don't like it. A true bypass pedal, i mean its great! it has all that you can need in a pedal. it even includes a chorus!
are all instrument cables, including for the footswitch, mono? Also, since you'd probably know better than I... I have a nice set of stereo headphones. If I'm playing alone with the headphones through the pedal and my amp would I lose any quality using a mono extension (the headphone cord is annoyingly short)? My guitar is a PRS SE custom (pretty sure mono output). thanks
I'm interested in both the ORIGINAL Digitech Whammy as well as a DropTune pedal. Does this have the original tonalities of the original? I know the original is the most sought-after and what some consider as the best. From the sounds I've heard from my favorite players, it's apparent the originals were being used. Is this based off the original + a downtune section, or off the newer whammy-sounds/etc? Thanks.
I just sold a Whammy DT. I wanted to use it as an electronic Capo to sing in lower registers of songs that were too high pitched for me and for female singers when I play the guitar, trouble is when you shift the pitch up or down at low volume you can hear your guitar out of harmony with the Whammy and it's irritating. If you're playing loud in a band you probably won't be able to hear your guitar out of harmony and you should be alright. I'm not in a band anymore so I didn't try that. It also changes your guitar sound, it doesn't sound as good as it did but it's not bad. The dive bomb effect is pretty good but doesn't work too well as a whammy bar vibrato effect when playing surf music etc. I found only 3 useful things on it which weren't that great and not worth the price they're asking; the dive bomb, the 3rd octave and the 4th octave I think, listen for the only two octaves that are in harmony with your guitar, the rest are out of harmony and you'll need to play louder so you won't notice. These are not worth the price they are asking. I payed $245. to get 3 mediocre effects and not the effects I have hoped for. Don't buy it, you will be selling it soon!
You are literally using the pedal incorrectly. There’s no changing the fact that this is a pitch shifting pedal. Of course if you can hear your physical strings over your amplified guitar tone you will hear some clashes in tone. Your “review” is heavily flawed.
Dude is like the epitome of the early 2000’s
Whoa, I can't even imagine the endless amount of possibilities!
*I had no idea Vanilla Ice played guitar.*
Yo, don't be a loser.

I also want one! ... :)
Had the digitech RP 300 A. This pedal was a feature inside the old RP300A. Don't see much difference.
I need it
can it harmonize in major and minor like a proper harmony pedal?
is the the pedel used in truough the fire and flames
Are they discontinuing the Harmonyman for this ?
Is it possible to really drop the 6th string, like "drop d" without changing the other 5 ones? 🤔
no unfortunately not yet eventually we will.
You might wanna try a Hipshot X-tender for that (;
Can you drop tune using expression pedal??
For example, open string, string 6 notes C is raised to tone E using that tool, can you bro?
Does it sound good with an acoustic?
Lol
I have an Alvin & Chipmunks cover band. We just run everything straight into it, then output it to the mixer.
Acoustic sounds amazing with it.
@@IMONFIREPLEASEPUTMEOUT WTF, yes or no why be a vague ass douchebag about MUSIC, it's literally sounds.
@@jasoncraig2643 answer the question yes or no you fucking lame

Do not buy- mine stopped working after two months.... so pissed.
listen real careful to the pitch at 2:04. every time he plucks a different note you can hear the tracking jump. junk.
