At delay parts, he used a Digitech Hardwire dl8.
Pickups are Tonerider Alnico IV.
Strings are D'addario 9,5-44.
Plugged into a Koch Studiotone.

Bucketheads song Datura was the reason why I ordered a whammy pedal. This particular song sounds like it used to contribute to the creation of the universe lol. Great demonstration as well brother !

Death Metal Thrash Metal no. It's the pedal that Elvis used to blow his cousin's nose with.
Death Metal Thrash Metal Metallica uses either kemper or fractal systems now. So they are using a chorus effect. While this pedal does a chorus effect, I don’t think they are using this specific Digitech pedal

guys can i use that pedal for instead retune my guitar to a lower step (example from drop D to drop B) or the sound will not be like if i tune it 2 step down manually?

I think that's what the musician Buckethead does sometimes to achieve an almost 8-string sound.
Kristian Stoichkov As you described, no. However, Digitech makes a drop tuning pedal called Digitech drop which does that. Or Digitech also makes a version of the whammy (the one shown in the video) that has the Digitech drop circuit in it, so it has both. That pedal is called the Digitech whammy dt

I am looking for a video that shows the difference of the sound from the classic mode to chord mode.
Well the difference is exactly what it says..You can play chords in chord mode! But besides that i think whammy 5 is much better than 4 in every way..If you like the whammy sounds i think its the best choice

You can get a mic into it (I just did a few minutes ago.)
The input is a standard 1/4" unbalanced tip-sleeve with +5 dBu max input at 1 Megaohm, so as long as you abide by that you'll get a good signal.
The newest V5 model is also buffered output, so it can drive many feet of instrument cable. Also, there is a rather phenomenal pitch-shifting algorithm going on in this pedal.

I used the amp's od with a delay on fx loop, so i just put it on the input. :)
Plug your guitar into it, the other pedals should follow.

Just recorded some guitar with the whammy pedal yesterday. Just by plugging it in as a send effect on bypass, it effects the tone in a awful way! My recommendation...don't even think of buying this crap!
Your tech must be malfunctioning, then? Or you have a faulty unit.
Whammy 5 is true bypass, ya fuckin goob. Maybe slight coloration while on, but not much.
