I LOVE that you emphasize how simplicity and revisiting the fundamentals is beneficial too, not just the more intense Pilates sessions. Even as a teacher my self I really enjoyed this movement sequence, Lottie. I love the pizza slice cue for Pilates Stance. 🍕 I also cue that it should be a first distance between the ball of the feet so the heels can stay together in releve. Looking forward to tomorrow's lesson. 🙌💋
Completed this class this morning and loved it! Always love practicing the foundations, especially because I'm quite new to Pilates 😊 But I really struggle with the curl ups to seated if I don't use momentum to bring myself up 😩 Any tips on how I can get better with this movement? ☺️
This was exactly what the doctor ordered! Having lots of back neck and shoulder problems and your videos are just the ticket. Combined with plenty of other awesome movements. Thank you Lottie 😊 💙💜

I've watched quite some 'basic' or 'relaxing' pilates videos, that include lots of advanced techniques or difficult ab exercise. This one however, is one that lives up to its title and helps me relax and focus. Thank you, Lottie!

Well, almost a year after the video posted, but it is still helping others:-) I had a booster COVID shot yesterday, and it knocked me for a loop. Fever and body aches and chills: HOWEVER, I was feeling that I needed to "get back in my body" today. Lo and behold, you had just the thing for it. I will come back to this routine when I need "a little, not a lot." Thanks so much.
Very good. Think I need to practice the penultimate excercise ... my balance on tip toes with the added dips needs working on!!! 🙂. Many thanks Lottie.
Currently just Pilates and lots of lovely walks and the occasional run. I'm starting to try to use light weights a few times a week again too. Pre lockdown I enjoyed spin and weights classes as well as my Pilates but just Pilates mainly now :) xx
usually, I would combine your workouts with another but today was v hectic that i only managed to do today's workout, at least I stayed consistent every day and nvr miss any of yours! cus ive been so addicted with these xoxo
For the assisted roll ups in this routine you can add a little bit of a rock, momentum to help tip up if your spine is okay with that and then gradually try to take the momentum out, also try with your feet lightly anchored down or even with your feet pushing gently against a wall. You can also try putting a rolled up towel or low cushion under your lower back to help with that lower back mobility and curvature to come up. xx

I struggled on the ab exercise trying to bring myself up without momentum. How would I improve that? I couldn’t get up lol.
