Go fast on the highway try to
My Mom has really enjoyed the Altima. Her first one was a 2006. When the body style changed in 2013, she got that. Last night she got a 2020 Altima Platinum with the turbo engine. Nissan seems to be the leader in customers coming back. Her new one has more features and is much more comfortable than my Cadillac.
thanks for taking the time to write this comment!
Thank you for not talking through the video! First time I've been able to hear and "feel" the test drive in a video. Tom M.
Thanks! does the talking of reviewers bother you?
@@carPOVdrive Hi - constant talking while driving is a big distraction from what the car is doing. Maybe something like "OK, let's see how it accelerates on this hill", then let the car sounds and video show the result. That's fine. But when a reviewer never stops talking, he/she is often just "filling up the vacuum", with nothing important to say. Thanks!
@@nutmegct you mean in POV videos only or car review videos in general? I find it interesting, because most of my colleagues do talk a lot in their videos, sharing specs, impressions, etc.
@@carPOVdrive Nearly every YT review (cars, laptops, dishwashers, guns, etc.) has way too much talking. I remember a "How to bleed your brakes" video that ran 4.5 minutes; the first minute and a half had nothing to do with brake bleeding - just a list of other reviews the guy had already posted.
Beautiful car dude
It's quite nice and it drives better than I thought
Love my 2020 Platnium VC-Turbo!
good for you!

I have a 2019 2.0T except I push the pedal on the right. You should have tried it. Love the car so far. Great vid. Smooth and clean POV. Thx.
I may push it harder the next time... They made the Altima better no doubt about it. Thanks for the nice comment!
I love freaking Altimas wish i can buy this one
@@josecamacho4926 I own one, they're not that great. Not that bad, but not that great. Go for that Accord 2.0T instead if you ever could. Trust me.
Hey, great video, but just for future reference... Instead of clicking the turn signal stalk up or down allowing it to blink multiple times like it's an older car, all you have to is lightly tap the stalk up or down before it clicks, and it will automatically blink three times and turn itself off for you without you having to grab it again.
thanks for your comment and the tip! force of habit
I picked up a 2021 SR VC-Turbo a month ago (traded my 2019 Honda Accord) and it drives sooooo much better and the power comes in quicker!
interesting! thanks for sharing your experience
I have a new 22 Rogue with the new 1.5 Turbo 3 cylinder VC technology. Mine sounds noisy when I kick in the turbo...AND....I now notice an irritating "whirr" noise that comes on around 35 mph and dissipates after 50 (maybe road and wind noise sort of drown it out) ...most noticeable when decelerating from 50, most noticeable then. Anyone else with the 22 notice this same whirring noise (probably coming from the turbo)? Chris, how about your VC Turbo, you hear any whirr noise?
@@ofcbob6391 that’s coming from the turbo
Lol The minute you got on that freeway i recognized it i take i-75 everyday get off on Miramar Parkway
cool
It’s unfortunate the trim in the video isn’t the SR. The SR-VC is awesome and it’s a completely different experience.
The Gospel of the Kingdom specifically.
Is the red color exclusive to your area ? I'm in NJ and I haven't been able to see one in red in the platinum trim is there a reason why ? Not even the 2021 model
I don’t think it is
Question: Do you go to dealerships and ask to do pov’s? How old are you? If you go to dealers, what is the typical response? I’ve been going to dealers a lot recently filming cars, but not driving them. I’m 16, do you think they would let me?
I don't think they will let you. I have a connection with the manufacturers because of my other UA-cam channel
What’s the ride quality like ? I’m thinking about trading in my current car (a crappy Chevy) to get one soon
not bad at all, take a test drive and you'll see
Lmao I know that highway I stay in Pembroke Pines too. Fun highway to go drive at night had a couple races there
good for you
Might as well have had a 1.2L under the hood..... You really pushed the limits with that Nissan. I fell asleep.
Sometimes is just not possible, and a POV drive is not only about pushing it hard. Thanks for the comment
It would have been nice to see how it accelerates and how the cvt transmission works with this turbo set up. You know, the whole point of a test drive. I don’t know why you would drive slow for 10 minutes straight.
Speed Limit! Unfortunately sometimes you can, sometimes you can't. I wish I had the road for myself with my own rules but that's not going to happen. Any way, you can still appreciate some other aspects of the vehicle through a POV video like the interior, versatility, noises, etc it's not just about speeding. Thanks for the comment.
guys this one or maxima? what are you thinking
what are you looking for in a car?
where is there?

slightbetter than new bmw 3.30.
thanks for your comment
You know the steering wheel will come back to center after a turn
thanks for your comment
while their CVT isn't the best, and has a very bad reputation, their latest models have definetly improved, while not exciting or sporty they are far from being as bad as they were.
now they get the job done.
You got that right. I'd prefer an automatic transmission but this one doesn't feel bad at all, you got decent power when you need to pass someone on your daily driving, and the safety features are good.
Been driving their CVTs since 09, on my 4th lease, high mileage. No issues, not one issue. Think they had issues when they were release back in 2003. Not sure why people keep bring that up.
Lese39 Toyota and Honda now including CVTs in more 2020 models

Lol falling asleep
maybe burnouts and donuts next time?
Why did you just undertake that jeep ?
@5:20 That was stupid.
In America you stay in the right lane, in the UK you stay in the left lane...
Since when passing in a highway is stupid? Passing on the right is perfectly legal when there are 2 or more lanes of traffic moving in the same direction. Hope that helps.
Octane 87?
yep
@Boricua 4Life This engine has a variable compression system built into the camshaft
@Boricua 4Life You don't have to but it's totally up to you
@@carPOVdrive do you think the vc turbo altima will dust the 2014 maxima?
@@cedricmiller4370 The 0-60 in the Altima is about .3 sec faster than the 2014 maxima
