“Ultimately if you end the flight with a smile, it’s been a good one” - Ash 2021
Haha indeed!! That's how we should always fly, aiming for a smile, not just SD card footage :)
It’s the flying with the V2 goggles for me. I wasn’t prepared for how much fun it can add to flying a drone. Thanks for sharing this. Haven’t tried flying with my DJI FPV in night time yet.
Love all the tips you shared in the end. Really helpful!
"it's all about fun, if you end the flight with a smile then it's been a good one" that's the best advice I've heard in a long while, 100% Ash, i fly a MA2 and a lot of the time I just put it in sport's mode and whizz it about and it brings me great joy so this fpv will blow my mind, when it eventually arrives, currently in Leipzig apparently on route to Belfast, but point being people tend to forget to have fun, im a hobbyist flying isn't my work so i have fun and if i get some decent footage along the way that i can put on my channel then that's a bonus but ultimately for me it's about having fun, safely. Great video, thanks.
Thanks redknight, and absolutely - we should all be flying because we enjoy it, not simply because we feel pressure to capture the next blockbuster drone shot!
Love your videos ash
Great footage
Another Cool Video! Forget about specs & techs for a moment sometimes, it looks like you had a great time flying it and that's what it's about at the end of the Day, enjoying yourself and having fun, relaxing your mind! Keep the good videos coming!
Absolutely and thanks for your comment Charles, it's about enjoying it, flying should never be a chore!
What a nice video! Thx - subscribed 👊🏽
Thanks buddy!
Great flight, the drone is amazing.
Thanks buddy, it's damn good fun!
Great video ash!
Thanks man!
Great test - given the conditions pretty good video..
Great review! Very nice shots under the bridge. 👍🙏😊😁
Thanks buddy!
Great footage.
Thanks dude!
Great low-light review! This drone is all about fun, for me anyway. If I plan to shoot levelled cinematic footage I bring another drone with me.
Exactly, the Mavic 2 Pro would be ideal in this light.
Nice vid ash 👍🏽
Thanks dude!
Mavic pilot who got into FPV last year because of the FAA. Your sensible flying showed me that if it was in my budget, I would give it a try. Thanks for the video.
Thanks Johnny, appreciate this comment a lot!
Nice footage. I may need to get one for the purpose of night footage. And I need to learn to fly the damn thing, properly. No pressure. Thanks for the tip ✌🏻
Can I know the best settings for camera to fly dji fpv during the night
I did a quick test using my DJI Mini 2 with a low light test and the footage is not as sharp as daytime, although I could see everything the end result was a slightly poor grade video. Not tried full night time yet as I have only just got my night strobes for night flying as per CAA law. Could hear that FPV buzzing past you
Yeah sadly the Mini 2 has a small sensor and therefore won't be on par with the Mavic Air 2 or Mavic 2 Pro.
Wow, that was brave boing under the bridge at night. It looked like you wee right on the water coming up to it. Does this drone have an adjustable aperture?
Haha, couldn't resist and can't wait to do it in the daytime 😎 unfortunately not adjustable aperture on this one, you'll only ever find that on the alrger drones like the Phantom 4 V2 etc.
Hi Ash Yep Me again, and another thing wrong with the DJI FPV Drone, well I guess I can start with this problem. I do a lot of flying during the Summer nights and I use the street lights to see when the moon is down and I can't tell if you could see power lines or not. I do like the landing light.
Thanks JohnnyD, quite honestly this drone is more fun as you fly it more. If you haven't got one yet then genuinely you're missing out. Before writing it off, go and have a go on someones and you'll see why this is selling so well.
I would love to, but unfortunately I can't find anyone who is interested in purchasing it. The airplane guys don't care and there's only three guys including myself that are flying quads. And I'm the only one who has a DJI drone, it's just the mini, and I'm not really that good at flying it. Everytime I try to turn it just banks to the side. But I still would like to fly it once, but I couldn't ever imagine purchasing it. I'm on a fixed-income of $600 a month and there's just no way.
I just bought this drone today. Charging the goggles now. I bought this for one reason to fly and have fun. The only thing I do not like is having a cable from my face to my pocket. What was DJI thinking. Attach it to the sides , bottom or top. Having that cable touching my face from time to time is annoying. They can do better.
lol you said I was brave, flying under that bridge in low light, over water was pretty ballsy. The quality is better than i thought, but way too much noise to be usable. You too live in a beautiful area. Nice flight dude
Thanks buddy, yeah the disappointment with this drone is the camera sensor size, imagine if it was carrying the Hasselblad...but you definitely wouldn't want to crash it then!
@@Droning-ON lol nooooooo you would definitely not want to crash that
Impressive drone and nice flight! is it allowed to fish from that bridge?haha
I'm not sure actually, possibly!! Let's find out and make it happen if it's permitted!! Alternatively there's a lovely place just south of here, near the NAKD factory?
the broadcast mode and audience mode dont work very well. lots of pixel jitter and lines. tjek it out.
Oh btw what is the specific name of the cool track you're playing from light-foot? Sounds pretty dope!
Thanks buddy! This track actually is from the UA-cam media library, completely free to download but I can't recall the name of it right now.
get rid of that chair dude... I got the Herman Miller Ergo and can't believe I used a DXRacer chair so long.
way better on the back, great review!! getting mine tomorrow!!
I think that you're right, theure not comfortable chairs at all are they!
It's the 60fps that you can't bring down that make it terrible for low light video..
Sweet
Or can you actually bring down the fps to 30fps or 25fps then night video would be much better I think..
Sweet
Keep well and be safe Ash!
😁🇧🇬🛸

I don't see any Horizon Leveling on DJI FPV Drone.
Good enough I suppose. Sunsets worth trying.
Thanks buddy! Yes a sunset should work quite well, I was flying jist after and therefore the light had faded substantially, by the end I could barely see, so the cameras actually made it look brighter than it was!
Im a bit disappointed with the cam settings. Why is there no 25/30 FPS setting? Would do better in dusk...
Totally agree, till now almost every flight I had made me smile, and thanks for explaining why battery life sometimes is lower! Can't stand ppl complaining when they're draining ;)
Thanks RCSchim, agreed, it's odd that there isn't a 25 which was shooting at 50 and halving it unfortunately, let's hope that firmware enhances this!
@@Droning-ON maybe they did this by intention because their EIS works better in higher FPS...
Aloha Ash!
Haha "Aloha" :)
I noticed you didn't install a strobe light, are the laws in Sweden different?
The requirement for a strobe is an FAA requirement I believe, therefore America.
that’s not Night, that’s blue hour!
The footage looked a tad noisy, is that due to post or upload? Or is it because the low light in the camera or to high iso?
Hey dude, have a listen to the video as it's all explained at the end.
@@Droning-ON yah sorry i realized after it commented and then forgot delete it. Great vid now I don’t have to high of expectations for low light. I wonder if noise reduction on premier pro would help that at all
@@beatlejuicebeatlejuicebeat9764 no worries buddy, hope that it was useful! Noise reduction might help, but it would unfortunately soften the image of course, therefore making it potentially worse and less detailed.
Hvad med en dansk kommentar ?🇩🇰 super video
Haha måste gång, men jag måste lära mig Svenska först 😎
