I am Die Hard Sox fan for 51 years, and until just now I was wrong about A-Rod, I know about the PED's, not to mention he was on the Yankees, but seeing David and him talk and sharing some of the off field emotions and relationships really shocked me, so much for listening to the media. I am going to show this vid to my friends and start trying to not listen to the media which I am pretty about that now, but not in sports. Thank you for this insight, I really enjoyed it. Hey David, we miss you, and A-Rod, good luck in your future. Miss Manny too.

I think for many years it was Red Sox / Yankees. The Yankees got the best of the Sox for so many years and it infuriated Sox Nation. The players were very aware of how the fans felt and tried really hard to overcome. In 2003 an 2004 the stakes were so high, it surprises me to hear that they tried to help each other.
