For today's video, we are going through my entire eyeshadow palette collection of over 600 palettes!!! I am redesigning my makeup room, so I needed to do a massive declutter!! Let me know what you think of everything down in the comments!!!

I can unserstand your thought about not using the more expensive palettes, I used to make the same. But you should do it becuase you spend a lot of money! And with your collection I don´t think that you will hit the pan😉. My collection is so much smaller and I can´t remember to go through any of my pans, although I make my makeup every day....

@@BeautyJacked yes you will get so much more joy out of it if you use them! Otherwise they just gather dust. Eye shadows don't really have a purpose if we don't use it and it's not like we spend hrs a day staring at them for joy? Even if we like looking at our palettes here and there I think we rather overestimate how much actual joy that brings and wouldn't really miss most if they were gone
Oden's Eye has quickly become one of my favorite eyeshadow formulas EVER. I can't wait to see what they put out this year! 😍👏

The larger pallets from Natasha Denona have formulas curated for working makeup artists. When she started going towards the mid-range pallets, she altered the formula and where things were manufactured for cost effectiveness and to optimize her market reach. Awesome idea about keeping things for crafts, I would have never thought of that. This is the first video of yours I found and I am smitten having found you. Wonderful explanations

You know, that Dito palette is actually really beautiful! I was shocked by the looks I turned out of it! I did end up giving it to my daughter because she's more into neutral makeup but it's such a hidden gem! The shimmers are very sheer & sparkly, the mattes are nice!
I would really 💛💛💛 a Tammy Tanuka palette video, this is the first I’ve heard of them- I don’t care that they aren’t currently available. I’m subscribing in the hopes I don’t miss it AND I love your collection can’t wait to watch your other videos.

Awww, your fur baby!!! How awesome that you repurpose shadows for art projects!!! How cool are you?! The Carnival Antidote definitely calls to me. I know a girl who gets all of the TF quads and I'm never impressed by the looks they create. They are so boring and so expensive! I have that purple Marc Jacobs palette, and the cherry one. I haven't used those in a while. Maybe one needs to come out for my February SMS, probably the cherry one! I am in absolute awe of your collection. I had to watch in sections, between my major cleaning and decluttering project in my bedroom. LOL Awww, love seeing your fur babies sneak in there. You did pretty dang good decluttering. 30 palettes is a lot! Love that you're using so many for art projects and display too. Congratulations on 1300 subscribers!!! Love you, Cat!!!

Ok wow i finally finished I watched it in parts too lol. You have an amazing collection but I would be so overwhelmed lmao. But at least you got rid of ones you aren't crazy about anymore and it's your amazing collection!! Hopefully you're able to use the ones u haven't yet but I don't usually have palettes longer then a couple of days unused lol it gives me anxiety hahah. Great collection!!

Just found your channel! I am a mixed media artist and I use eyeshadow palettes I no longer want in a bunch of my work! They can be used like chalks, or added to paints and encaustic wax, even used on polymer clay. I don’t use watercolors much, but I bet they work just fine! It helps with the guilt when you purchase a palette that doesn’t work for you!

Yesss finally someone is doing what I have suggested to many who threw out used palettes that are old. I paint with my palettes or I use shimmers in body oil to make a shimmer body oil. I actually have really bad tics/Tourette’s that effect my eyes so I can’t ware makeup anymore and it breaks my heart especially having thousands of dollars of stuff I can’t use. That’s when I started painting again and I found I preferred shadow colors to my watercolors because nothing matches the beauty and color range. Eye liners work great too. Been doing this for decades and it always broke my heart how wasteful many makeup reviewers are by just tossing it out. So thank you for repurposing and not just clogging landfills.
I completely agree!!! I hate wasting things!!and eyeshadows can be used for some many crafting things!!!
I also wanted to thank you for sharing your knowledge about the Indie brand labs/manufacturers being the same (It's Bel, Sugar Drizzle and Adept). I didn't realize this. I don't mind supporting all the brands, in fact I have palettes from all of them! I love them all! It's nice to learn something though while drooling over your collection! 🫠 🤤😊😉
Love a good, long declutter video!! You have a beautiful collection!! I’m happy to see SAS go. Storybook cosmetics has (had??) some super shady owners too. 🫠 Kiki Chanel did a great video doing a deep dive on them.
Also I have seen the same issue with the Klarity So Mermazing palette. The people that contacted them said they were offered a binder to fix the shades. 🫣

I’m so happy!!! This is awesome!! Thank you for the Milk eye primer idea! I seem to have eyelids like you! My HUDA palettes do not last on my lids for long at all. Also, Makeup Maniacs is overpriced for their underwhelming formula in my opinion. Also I seen a recording of a live where she was trash talking a bunch of other Indie brands. And not for their quality but their owners and and the influencers that use their products. It was horrible. The way she was talking to her husband on this live was so disrespectful and downright insulting! But forget that nonsense! Thank you so much for this video! I was so excited for it and you definitely did not disappoint at all. You have a wonderful, eclectic, and most certainly a beautiful collection!! Thank you for sharing it with us!

She was arrested for dv against her husband. Facts. The owner of a brand that I talk to daily was actually bullied by her into closing her business back a few years ago too so yeah... Not a nice person 😬

I would love to know how you use these in arts and crafts. I used some sparkly eyeshadow before in soap or body butter before. I want to try nail polish as well but curious as hell for more inspiration
So ive been using them most recently to add some sparkle to polymer clay earrings that ive made!! Some formulas work better than others, so im still testing them out!! But ill def make a video in the near future to share how i was able to use them with you guys!!!

At some point I’m planning on trying lethal cosmetics liquid lipsticks. Good to know overseas pricing is nuts. They have a steel gray that looks cool 14:53 in the collection.
My daughter loves to paint & draw and I have though about repressing eyeshadows I don't use for her to do art! I am glad you do that because that means my idea wasn't that off, lol. Also, I love these videos! I am so glad you did this, thanks!

My five-year-old granddaughter, does that with melted crayons, show, meltdown, crayons, and do her art with it, melted down on any wax warmer that is only hard enough to melt the wax not burn her. It is adult supervised.❤
If you like the covers but not what's inside you can always remove the cover for display art or art collection

I'm so glad your mentioned oily eyelids- same problem here- I found the fenty invisamatte eye primer to do wonders! It's also great for oily lids! Try it if you ever feel the need :)
I also love the Natasha Denona Triochrome palette! I feel it's an unpopular opinion though 🤣

Have you ever thought about popping the singles out of the mid sized ND palettes and making your own custom palettes? Lauren Mae Beauty has a video doing it and ive also seen a couple really nice ones on instagram too. I have the love palette as well and going to get rid of it because it isnt a colour story that really calls for me but i keep seeing these beautiful "custom" ND palettes so ive been thinking of just keeping it and mixing it up with my others. Just an idea :) ps. Love the loooong declutter video.

Its a personal experience thing that happened, so i wont support the brand anymore. But the products are good, so if you see something that you like and want to try out, def give it a go!

Your collection is huge and amazing!! 🤩 For me it would be too much to own, I want to make sure I use everything I have thus I try to stay at 30 palettes max, but I like that you are able to appreciate all your palettes, by using them on your eyes or for your art creations! Can I ask what's the matter with Gourmand Girls? I know what happened with SAS, but never heard anything bad about GG.. I don't have anything from the brand but it's been recently made accessible in Europe and I thought I could buy something this year...
Im so glad you enjoyed seeing my collection!! There is nothing wrong with GG products, its a personal choice for me based on some stuff unrelated to the makeup. But if you like the looks of the products, definitely by all means check them out!!

Maybe at some point I might, but I prefer just giving the makeup away, rather than making someone pay for it. I have lots of students that like wearing makeup, so whenever I do a declutter, a lot of it is given to them!

I find them rather relaxing, lol. I know the issue with SAS, but would you mind explaining what the issue is with gourmande girls? I had planned on buying a palette from them, but if they are a crappy brand, i would rather not support them.

Love your collection and your video! May I ask why you no longer support gourmande girls? You are the second youtuber I have seen say that, and unlike with SAS or other brands, I cannot find anything online. I generally like to know before I part with my hard earned cash, so a general idea of a reason to avoid the brand would be very much appreciated!

Hey, searched on google why people aren't supporting Saint and sinners, and found the answer, but when I did it with gourmand girls, it didn't show anything.... What is wrong with them since you don't support them??
I've been trying to find out as well! A couple UA-camrs that I watch have said they won't be supporting them anymore, but that's it. Really don't want to support them either if there's a problem, but I understand not wanting to air personal grievances.
@@bellou72 I too understand that, but I feel like it's too many people to have personally problems with them🤔 so it seems like whatever happened, it's either so bad that people don't feel comfortable talking about it, or they have gotten hate the first time they did (or seen people get hate) so they don't want to talk about it, or it could be that it's so small that it will just cause drama and they have made a choice and don't feel the need for drama in the comments🤷🏽♀️🤔
@@sorry-I-write-long-comments I know there was drama with their That Time of Year collab. Nikki Raven mentioned they don't keep their promises. Her sister, Debutawn, was part of that collab. Gourmande Girls and Debutawn don't follow each other on IG, but I can't find anything specific.

Lethal cosmetics is a garbage company run by morons. Their formula is just ok, nothing special and certainly not worth dealing with the headache should you receive a damaged product. Their customer service is so bad it’s comical….I received a broken shadow in a custom palette which they refused to reship because shipping is too expensive to send a single shadow from Europe. Their customers can pay inflated shipping…just not them. They actually expect customers to just deal with an incomplete palette but that’s not even the most ridiculous part. They literally tried to only issue me a partial credit for the broken shadow because it was only “partially” broken. Who does that?? Needless to say I made them refund the entire amount and will never purchase from them again. LOVE Kara beauty though, amazing quality and color stories for a good price. I’m surprised nobody talks about them but they’re prob not simping for influencers.
How can we get palettes you don't want anymore? Do you ever give them away?
I give them to my students most of the time, or friends/family that want them. If they are completely untouched, i will include them in giveaways sometimes too
Please please please let me have some of that eyeshadow pallets you are throwing away I need them desperately I’m not even kidding. This is my second with breast cancer. I’m in remission but when I put on make up what makes you feel more like a woman even know half of me is going on please contact me I really want. Do you want some eyeshadow palette even if I have to buy them please I’ll even pay for shipping. I don’t have a lot of money, but it has to be cheaper than the Stores.❤❤❤❤😮
