Hi! 👋 I just wanted to help you stop ruining your palettes. I don't know who told you to use setting spray to repress broken shades, but that's not how you do it. You use alcohol at least 70% better if it's 90% and spray it then repress it and leave the palette open to dry for a day. It may change the texture of some shadows but it won't do what the setting spray is doing. Hope that helps! ❤
That’s so good to know! I didn’t know about the last part lol. I ruined some shades with the older palettes when I tried swatching them again. My latest matte shade I ruined was from my Blendbunny Dollhouse palette. I put too much alcohol and it completely dried up. Lately with the shimmers, I have been pressing them back in on its own. I’m scared for that to happen again but I just need to be prepared. Thank you for helping out! 🤗💗
There are a lot of utube videos on how to repress properly..please watch a couple, no need to ruin your palettes. 😊

ooooh ND palettes they are sooo pretty, zendo and retro one I think I have and i have a bunch of the 5 pans love those!!! yucca hmm I only liked the teal shade. I have the jubilee and still hanging on to it. we have some of the similar ones. easy to use for sure.
I love ND quality. It could be a hit or miss sometimes but looking forward to the week when I dedicate using my ND palettes. 🥰💗

I understand about keeping some palettes for the collection. That’s why right now I can’t really declutter much from my indie palettes. I still want to play with them. For the Natasha Denona, I did mentioned I was going to let some go but I changed my mind. I want to give them more love and decide later. I really need to keep myself a low buy so I want to see if I can go through these palettes before the end of year. I’ll do another another declutter then to see where I’m at and how much I used them. I honestly would like to see my collection a little smaller but I’m just not there yet. 😆 Also I would love to see what you declutter when you decide to. I always love seeing them. 🥰🩷
@@sashybeauty lol I tried to be on a low buy and compared the last year i would definitely consider it a low buy for ME but I've still been purchasing here and there just not every release. Being on a low buy is easier said than done as you know!! I hope you get a chance to use the palettes you havent touched especially some of those NDs, I'd love to see what you do with them! I love watching declutters especially from the people I know and somewhat know their collection. I don't have a channel but I can do a declutter reel or tiktok!

The Mauve one is my favorite of those jewel tones.
I love mauves but I didn’t really use that one a lot. I love the quality in her bigger palettes better. I am hoping she comes with something that I love just as much for Rose Quartz. I need something different from her lol.
@@sashybeauty she’s a neutral lover. I think the most colorful one she did was the one you decluttered. I can’t think of the name. I have a ton of her little ones and all the big ones. She’s another one I most likely won’t get rid of
I want Minka palette too
I think my Minka might be bad too. I wouldn’t recommend it because it has a lot of Shea butter and it smells bad. I learned from my friend after seeing hers and I had recheck mine and yeah it doesn’t look too good on bottom part lol I haven’t thrown it out yet because I spend so much on it from a reseller. 😢

Yes palettes and even makeup can. I only got into makeup 3 years ago but it’s always good to go through your collection and see. I was surprised to see a few I had to throw out.
Patrick ta the Mold is common but otherwise is rare
We have so many same high end palettes! That’s crazy about Patrick Ta palette!! Do you have air conditioning in your beauty room? Don’t let your room get too hot.
So funny 😂 after I finish reviewing all the new palettes I’m going to dedicate some time with the high end palettes. I was thinking of doing like a week of PMG and Natasha Denona like different weeks, just showing the looks I create like how Katelyn House Makeup does it sometimes. I’m not sure if you watch her too. I do have a AC in the room. It doesn’t get too hot unless I record because of ring light and I also have a window tint. I have seen from other friends or even online where the Patrick Ta palettes grew mold. I got it when it launched but next time I just won’t buy his palettes anymore because of that. 😅

Pat McGrath only has made3 holiday palettes and I think for sure that the last one was made specifically to use with the first two that really had no mattes in it!!
I honestly didn’t know that! 😅 I already sold the latest holiday palette but I kept the other two.
It’s not a fact per se but it makes so much sense to me with all 3 of them together. The first two had a lot of special shades and shimmers and 3 or 4 mattes which limited what you could do with them, but with the last one it made more looks possible with the first two. If I get the money I will be buying your other Pat McGrath your selling. I want all the Mothership Palettes. I like to mix her special shades with Mehron Mixing Solution and it makes those special shades look like they are wet on your eyes. Magical!
You can repress shimmers without messing up.the formula. You have to use minimum 91% to 100% rubbing alcohol. Alcohol completely evaporates out. Its hard to find 100% alcohol, but most stores carry 91% & 70%. Do NOT use 70% alcohol. It'll mess up a formula. However 91% is far better. It doesnt affect the shimmer formula. Repressing mattes are more tricky. Lastly dont repress them to hard. That'll cause issues too. Regardless of alcohol %.

I saw someone else on UA-cam saying their Patrick ta palette had mould too and it wasn't old. I wouldn't be pleased at that price.

I wish I could but I bought it at Sephora. I got mine a litter over a year ago during the 2022 spring VIB sale. The quality was great but sadly I won’t be buying his palettes anymore.
I heard the Patrick Ta palettes aren’t mold it’s supposed to be a wax bloom.
My IBY palettes all the shades that are broken in your broke in my as well.

It was my first time counting them 😂 if I ever declutter Adept then I will sell them. They are expensive. The Rogue palette is one of my top 10 from this year! It’s really good and perfect for me. 💜💙
Did you buy that Patrick Ta Palette from the website? I would contact them and ask for my $$ back growing mold is not okay
I bought it at Sephora during VIB spring sale last year. I seen from friends and online that their Patrick Ta products not just the palette has grown mold like their single blushes. I kept my eye on mine when someone brings it up and I guess after a little more than a year, mine started growing mold. I thought it was magnetic because I was able to pull out one of the shimmers..but it was just loose. I tried taking out the mattes but I ruined them lol. So I just threw it away already. 😢
I would contact Patrick Ta Company and ask why their products are growing mold and ask for a replacement or your money back. I’m not down for crap like that. Just like the Sol De Janeiro Brazilian Tinted lip balm things I received all 4 of the ones I got with mold growing on them. The company tried saying it was cause of the nutty formula. I hate when companies don’t take care of their customers and make excuses for bad formulas and bad products. I read a thing about when to get rid of products and palettes should be good for more than a year.
Rose Quartz is the best from Huda

berry ice packaging is nice but too many colors for me especially the red side
It’s good to use for monochromatic looks. There’s not much color variety with that one.

It was just a matter of time.. 😅😂 I thought it was magnetic but only one of the shimmer shades was just loose. I just threw it away since I couldn’t get the mattes out.

Lol I didn’t declutter much from there but I just knew later I’ll probably not reach for them unless I make myself. I do want to use the ones I am keeping and give them chances though. ☺️
@@sashybeauty Yeah I just got the Retro Glam and I think with the Zendo Palette the two go perfectly together. I have the Bronze, Lila, Sunrise & Sunset. I will eventually have all of them. I love her formula. I have almost every mini except two I believe.
My palettes are something I couldn’t declutter I know for a fact I have over 400 palettes and I still can’t get rid of any except when I get duplicates I put them in boxes I have accumulated 2 large boxes so far of duplicate palettes and eyeliners and skincare I won’t use either.
I started about 3 years ago and it was nice to try to collect since I felt like I needed more to do different looks. It was my first time doing decluttering like this and I did it for a lot of reasons really. Space, money, and to have them go to better homes. I feel much better now I can just open my drawers and see ones I want to use. I am doing a goal for myself to use all the palettes I kept before the year ends. If I can do that I will be really happy. I plan to do another declutter by the end of the year and reflect what I love and don’t love anymore. ☺️
Yes I started collecting and getting into actual high end in the end of 2019. My first purchase that wasn’t Hard Candy or L’Oreal, & Maybelline was the Mon Renaissance. I bought almost every single ABH palette even ones that were no longer available by finding stuff from EBay, Mercari, and Poshmark. I have been in a funk cause life threw a lot at me since 2021 but most of that year I created a lot. I plan to start using my palettes a lot more. I’m moving back to my hometown and my baby sister will help me with editing and recording and stuff. She is way more techy than I could imagine. So my huge collection will get some love. Then I’ll think about doing a declutter once I use the things I want to !
