This video was filmed prior to the refresh, so please note that Shake Shack has been replaced by Five Guys ! Let me know below if you try this out ! I've replicated it three times this past month (discrepancies found at Subway + BurgerFi)
I try ! With all hacks I always try and give you guys replicable examples of me doing it ,or just in general with my redemptions! As a consumer of credit card content also, I love seeing these "Hacks" in action. Glad you enjoyed it !
I don’t have the app but I believe you can reload credits (similar to Starbucks app) and it codes , I haven’t played around with it yet but sounds right !
Grubhub states in the guarantee to just submit a “screenshot of your cart with the same items “ , I’ve done it without having to include the taxes which is added when you go to checkout which is a plus (~.50 ish cent benefit) What they care about the most is the actual price in food (in this case how GH is charging 2$ ish more for the sandwich vs Uber eats
I personally have not tried that yet , but if there’s an option within the app it “should” code as Grubhub , in store unfortunately it won’t to my knowledge
100% , I have a handful of ones I’ve found since doing this and use them when the situation arises (now I can definelty see people abusing this like ordering subway daily and applying for a promo haha)
It’s not an exploit by any means (legality wise haha) ! It’s in there policy for price matching , what will more than likely happen is they’ll adjust there prices to be in line with there competitors If anything they are the incorrect ones charging us an extra 2$ compared to all delivery apps for my tuna sandwhich haha
I just see them matching the prices to there competitors if it is large influx from the same place I always remind people that us in the CC game are the minority , so a few 1000 people doing this vs the millions on Grubhub isn’t too alarming Now if tomorrow there’s 16,000 price matches to subway that’s different haha , but worse case you’ll just see the prices matchup amongst apps
Sure does ! You technically can do it without an Amex , but since you get the credit for the purchase reimbursed with both Gold and Biz Gold, it makes this 10x better since the purchase is technically “free + promo” (can replicate with the gold business version!) With the business gold it’ll be just a higher threshold , just need to find a descrepency between GH vs UE etc !
More than likely some able to undercut or be as close to the margin (Uber vs GH) GH being smaller might need to add more $ to make it profitable (just my guess)
@@Matt_Lopez Local restaurant. It had a coupon too. I used UberEats for the lower price. Thank goodness your channel popped up in my feed. Otherwise, I wouldn't have known.
All you need to do is physically “enroll” in the credit via the app , and then just pay at a “Resy” restaurant (you can go to there own site and see a list) , just swipe your card and wait for your $50 statement credit !
@@Matt_Lopezdo you know when the credit resets? I know it’s $50 every 6 months. But does the 6 month timing start as soon as you make your first booking? Or just after month 6 of the year?

Appreciate the shoutout! This hack really is a game changer if you’re willing to put in the effort. Great breakdown as well!
Great video. You shared an actual "hack" that is not clickbait plus what you showed is actionable.

I heard for dunkin you can buy $7 in funds a month essentially stacking month after month if you rarely go.
I don’t have the app but I believe you can reload credits (similar to Starbucks app) and it codes , I haven’t played around with it yet but sounds right !
Yes I do this monthly at it works.
The Grubhub price is post tax but the Uber eats price is pre tax. Does that matter?

great video! surprising quality for a smaller channel. subscribed :)
Appreciate it Seele02, I’m trying !!!
actually a nice little hack for the gold card!
Glad you like it ! Definelty helps make that dining credit stretch over a few meals
Can I buy a grubhub gift card and still get the $10 statement credit?
I personally have not tried that yet , but if there’s an option within the app it “should” code as Grubhub , in store unfortunately it won’t to my knowledge
Thats what im wondering because you can do that with the dunkin credit.
I appreciate a good credit card hack! Get it before they nerf it!
Yep ! While I see the GH guarantee staying , it will get harder and harder to find those discrepancies
When they receive these guarantees notices they tend to match the price in the future so they don’t get anymore requests from the store
100% , I have a handful of ones I’ve found since doing this and use them when the situation arises (now I can definelty see people abusing this like ordering subway daily and applying for a promo haha)
Lol, will I be blacklisted by grubhub or something? This feels wrong to do :(

@Matt_Lopez I agree, or they might end up changing their $5 bonus policy and just refund the balance if people ab use the system..
I just see them matching the prices to there competitors if it is large influx from the same place

Great video, does this work with the Amex gold business as well that has $240 Grubhub anual credit $20/m?
Sure does ! You technically can do it without an Amex , but since you get the credit for the purchase reimbursed with both Gold and Biz Gold, it makes this 10x better since the purchase is technically “free + promo” (can replicate with the gold business version!)

Good hack. I wonder why restaurants put different prices for all 3 apps.

@@Matt_Lopez Just wanted to say thanks. I did the GH guarantee today. I got $11 total promo.
Let’s GO!!! What restaurant did you do it on ?

Glad to help Jay , more to come soon 🫡
how do you use the resy credit?

@@yoboikent it is divided by 1st six months and 2nd six months.
@adrianvilchis8113 @@Matt_Lopez Can you use the resy credit to buy their gift card from their site?
@@yoboikent it’s 1/1 - 6/31 and 7/1 to 12/31 , they were very strategical with when they launched the card haha so we couldn’t get both
