I agree ! The SUB alone is light years better value wise , but I’m not the biggest fan of holding cards for a year and canceling. While there’s nothing wrong with it (especially if you’re a SUB farmer), I just like solidifying a set up for the long run! Most people I see have issues after the SUB passes because the coupon book aspect of the card , which might make the Savor a little better

I agree ! I’m a AMEX holder myself , and there flight partners are top notch especially with the new Alaska potential. Just wanted to highlight how some people simply can’t justify the Gold card and this would be a solid pivot !

AMEX will always be king to some people because of a lot of there perks , just highlighting that not everyone can justify the credits (places without resy footprints or dunkin donuts). The capital one savor would be a solid pivot for sure

Cap1 miles locks U into a portal with no boost, has .5cnt cash out value, and not the best transfer partners. Its points should not be compared to Amex MR or Chase UR points ecosystems. They are in a different league😎

I’m in the process of working out my 2025 strat and it’ll be relatively similar I think , prob keep the Amex gold for a little longer before I pivot the AF to something more premium. VX might be coming very soon

Fortunately only AMEX…. I hear you though, it is annoying while making a redemption. Luckily the CPP was still 2 CPP even with fees factored in. But Excise fee + airline fees add up quick !

It really is ! Thinking of getting a 2nd using my player 2 just for a year and canceling to secure another big chunk. Since DnD is your second home , see if Uber eats or Grub hub has Dunkin’, and you can just use multiple credits there ! Just to allocate some fatigue away

It’s all about personal perspective, but for me 5 star resorts in Cabo , 5-star in Barcelona / Capri , and 5-Star in NYC are definitely impressive at $0 out of pocket. 99.9% of points and miles redemptions are not the outrageous ones you see on social media

As long as in the AMEX app you’ve enrolled in the credit which I’m not sure you can without the card . If you can , it will work

If it’s directly from that restaurants website it should be processed by the same payment System they use and trigger it. To be safe either do a small $ tester , or order for pickup by phone and pay in person !

As long as it’s within there cancelation policy you’ll get refunded in points ! Just remember you can never revert Hyatt points back to CC points Just verified via the Baha Mar WoH property and they have a 7-day cancelation for refund before reservation date (even though worst case you can always call and try to bend it a little worse case) Hope this helps !

Super solid card without a doubt ! It’s slept on primarily because people are usually team travel vs team cash back and that card unfortunately only has cash back . I’ll add it to a list for a future video ! Thanks for the recommendation

With transferring to the world of Hyatt , there are $0 in fees associated because your transferring your chase points which have inherent value (1 cent per point, which in this video I sent over 90,000 which is worth ~$900) Some hotels with points do charge a service fee or daily fee but with Hyatt it’s backed into the cost ! Hope this helps !

Technically yes ! 9x additional + 1x to total 10x The 175k is a different offer than the 100k + 10x , and if I were to get this offer I would legit only out dining on this card to milk the entire 25k max spend haha , you could add all spend, but just make sure you have all dining to capitalize Resy is 100k + up to 250k Other offer I have via incognito is 175k For most , the 175k offer is better and less stressful but if you have monster spend in dining the resy one is better !

I don’t have the app but I believe you can reload credits (similar to Starbucks app) and it codes , I haven’t played around with it yet but sounds right !

Yes I do this monthly at it works.

I personally have not tried that yet , but if there’s an option within the app it “should” code as Grubhub , in store unfortunately it won’t to my knowledge

Its a hard comparison , for Soley dining/groceries I like my AMEX Gold by a mile. But if I had to choose to only have one , it would be the Sapphire just because of how much I use the world of Hyatt for transfer
