- Seen a lot of questions about this mouse VS other mice, wanted to answer some here, and also just to be clear... the Logitech G Pro Wireless is a different size and shell to the Logitech G Pro, G102, G203 and G305. It is a unique design.
You have to find the right mouse for you, don't worry about what's number 1, 2, 10 or even 20, just get what suits your needs. This mouse is amazing but I use the Zowie FK2 because it's the right size and shape for me.

Can confirm mouse companies watch my videos and even ask me directly, so yes a lot of mice you see have our influence. I say "our" because I've been talking to the community all these years and passed on a lot of the ideas, even things I don't want personally.

G Pro wireless without weight cover is 77g. That's almost as light as Ultralight while having no cable drag.
Too bad it costs $150.
agreed , also my option has shitty wheel for cs:go players , its should be like a Zowie's hard solid mouse wheel , Secondly im slug sense player and using 600eDPİ for csgo (i prefer lower but cant spray so) g502 mouse has a very glide slient skates , but i saw G Pro Wirelles has loud and controll skates but second one isnt problem , i can buy original zowie fk-2 skates and paste over mouse feet . Finalmause sucks has horrible Skates , good idea , bad quality and exteamly hight price , %90 out of stocks , horrible custom service , bad wheel , bad dpi changer butyon palacement (u can press wrongly). 500hz , no hz change button or not coming with the basic mouse software (they retarded like says do not overclock your mouse)

@@Nexifyy Haven't gone back! I am loving how light it is and how incredibly long the battery life is, I can go a whole week without having to charge it. Haven't experienced any lag and have been using for the past two months. If you like the hump on the G403, the g pro doesn't have that big hump towards the palm area, which I wasn't a fan of much. Overall a great mouse, you'll love it.

My first match in CS GO was one of the best I've ever had!
I just want an FK2 with an updated sensor, lighter clicks, 24 step scroll wheel, and a softer cable. This mouse looks good but seems a bit expensive. I've had QC issues with 3 logitech mice from the G series so I'll wait for a bit before I make a decision on this one. Great work Zy, I hope more manufacturers listen to your advice!

After trying out so many mice recently, id have to say, buttons, click feel, build quality and material are more important to me than I thought. I originally just focused on shape and weight. But after trying out the fk2 and ec2a for a few months, I liked the shape and the weight, but the glossy plastic material just drove me nuts. It would get sticky after maybe 2-3 matches and would annoy the hell out of me. The buttons were nice, but still had some wiggle to them. I pushed off the g403 for a long time since it wasn't as light as the fk2, and shape wasn't as good as the ec2a according to a lot of people on reddit ( I have medium hands but I liked smaller mice).
However, after playing with the g403 I fell in love. The clicks, the materials, and shape and surprisingly low weight (88g without the cap) combined all made me put it above the ec2a and fk2. I wasn't expecting it to be that good, but the precision, comfort and quality of the mouse just made me love it. I aim better with the g403 than I did with the fk2, ec2a, and venator. So I feel like those factors can help people choose their perfect mice as well. Same story with the rival 600. I pushed it off because of its weight (roughly 97g) and large size, but after buying it on discount, the mouse was just superb. Precise buttons, extremely comfortable shape (the most comfortable i've tried) and removable sides made me realize the $80 price tag was well worth it.

Now, go for the G703, the better replacement of the G403, same $80! better for less, G403 is still $100 if you can find them in 2018....

Many can offer wired solution, if you need wireless, you need LightSpeed, not Bluetooth...
Gotta say. As I'm not much of a quake player, Quake is probably the best game to have experience on to really evaluate a good mouse from a bad one. Even for other competitive, mouse heavy shooters like Counter strike. And the fact that you are pro level at this, gives your videos that much more integrity. It completely make other amature tech enthusiasts review videos who are "worse than trash" gamers look like they are just doing an unboxing video about any gaming peripherals.
One thing I would like you to try however is comparing "cheaper" gaming mice to the ones you currently have on your top list. To really see how large or how small the gap is from cheaply made to more "upper level" if you will, developed mice. You know, to help the little guys out.
Keep it up man, really helping consumers and companies make great choices when it comes to gaming mice. Your videos helped me to pick probably my favorite mouse. The Zowie EC2-A which i got in 2016. Great mouse, but now since im starting to really feel the effects of the 3310 sensor. I would like to upgrade to the G403 or the G pro just to try out a really great wireless mouse, and to see if logitech actually brought back some great mice ever since their last great mouse. g304 (Asian G305) is on alliexpress now. It's like 1/4 the price of a local au g pro wireless even factoring postage.
I thought I had to pick the G Pro Wireless because it's ranked #1 on your list, but that is not the case. I had to pick the mice that is right for me. And yet, it is still the G Pro Wireless. The shape fits my hand size and the shape and weight is just like an old Logitech mouse I've been using before. I still have it and well, let's just say the G Pro Wireless is an upgrade. The weight is still the same but the better sensor plus the fact it's wireless makes it 10x better (not really).
Stepping away from RGB craze is always a good thing to focus more on perfomance and functionality. Reminds me of late 90's and early 00's car underglow neon craze.
My first gaming mouse was a DeathAdder Black Edition. I loved using it, but the middle click was getting unusable.
I read about the G502 and recommended it to 2 of my friends, who both loved it. So I got one too.
I love the features - buttons I can bind to whatever (my "sniper" button is set to right arrow for one website I frequent) and that godly scroll wheel.
But I ended up realizing that I don't actually use palm grip. I used fingertip since the texture of my DeathAdder became smooth without even realising, because the hard plastic became too slippery to lift the mouse. The G502 had the same issue and for a while I used vertical mice while browsing because my wrist was getting cold and cramped. I realised that the g303 shape I made fun of would actually suit me better, but I didn't want to buy a new mouse.
So I sawed like an inch of plastic from the back of the G502 and swapped the metal ring on the scroll wheel to a rubber one.
It's not pretty but it's light, EASY to lift and still has all of its stock features.
I should be receiving my G Pro Wireless this Saturday. Can't wait!!

I just bought the Logitech g703 i tested the Steel Series Rival 600 because they claimed the best lift off detection but the g703 is much better in every way and with the g703 your cursor barely moves when lifting the mouse. Also the Rival 600's sensor was bad i tried moving the cursor in fast circles and the cursor would skip i don't recommend the Rival 600.The Zowie Fk2 looks amazing i definitely want one, I think soon enough someone will make a sensor that completely removes lift off detection, thank you RJN!

These are great videos. Just some feedback however, spend a bit more time showing the mouse size comparisons like at 1:44 . This is very important for those people who can't try out mice in person. Things like click sounds are very iffy when mic, editing software and viewer's speakers can change this up, so it becomes less important than visual, but still important enough to cover.
Can't wait for the G Pro wireless to be imported in my part of EU. last 5 mice i got were all thanks to RJN reviews, no mistakes so far.
atm im really digging the g305. at first i disliked the material but after a bit i forgot about it an now am completley used to it. thank you for all the great reviews and comparisons. :)
In my opinion Best Mouse is Awarded to G305. It has a HERO sensor. Wireless. 85g when using Lithium Battery with battery cover on. 6 Programmable buttons.

Bought the g pro wireless a few days ago, hasn't arrived yet since I had to get it shipped from Ireland. No retailers have it in stock in Norway, don't know why it hasn't been released here yet. Really hope it fits my hands (19.5x11), don't want to have to ship it back to Ireland. It does look like the most perfect mouse out there atm.

I did the same thing about a year ago. How's your mouse holding up? Mine had been plagued with the double click issue.
Steel series need to release a Rival 600 except without any RGB and liftoff sensor to drop some weight, and also for their engineers to find other ways to drop the weight. Rival 600 at 80-85g would be incredible.

I bought the G703, didn't like the shape at first, and found it a bit heavy so I bought the G-Pro which I like even less. there's seriously nothing special about the GPro, what I really don't like is that it has no grip at all, the plastic is super slippery and hard to grip easily. There's just no justification for a $250 price tag. The g703 works just as well and has far superior integrated grips for much fewer dollars.

I've been using the G703 for about half a year now and I have to say I expected it to be better.
I'm thinking about switching back to a Deathadder. I've used a 2013 Deathadder for 4 years and the only thing that stopped working for mine was the middlemouse button.
I own the G Pro wireless now and after 3 weeks i can say, its worth every cent! I've used the Zowie EC2-A before. I wouldnt buy a mouse with cable again!
In Canada the ultralight can only be bought on eBay, and it costs $20 less than the gPro wireless. The choice is pretty simple.

My Nixeus Revel broke after about a month. I never slammed it or anything the right click just stopped working. I really liked it though while it lasted. I now have a Logitech G Pro and its the best mouse I have ever used hands down. The clicks are the best, side buttons are great, sensor perfect and the shape I love. Just wish the cord wasnt so thicc

G pro wireless #1 replaced my ultralight pro after one evening of gaming, it’s truly amazing wireless is amazing and the future if Logitech continues to improve their shapes they could take over the market. Like zy said 80 grams and wireless

The key info in the video was the zowies still has the best shape and its extremely important for aiming. Thats all we need to know. Tell if you find a mouse with better shape. Are you expecting newer versions of the zowies this year ? Subscribed.
I like thin scrollwheels . It makes my fingers feel more relaxed and in natural position . That's why my favortie mouse are those budget one's: logitech m100 and wireless logitech m310 . Logitech wireless seem to have thin scrollwheel also
You should review the Hirally f300. It's a budget 17 dollar mouse but it's really good.

Absolutely LOVING the G Pro wireless!!! The weight and shape are perfect for me. The shape feels like a hybrid, refined shape of 2 of my favorite mice (G403 and FK1). With its build quality, shape, weight, AND being WIRELESS, Logitech has made my perfect mouse. I really don't think I'll buy any other mouse unless it's a newer iteration of the Pro Wireless. And the feet are by far the best that I've used so far. While they may be louder, they do glide better which feels better in general use, but really helps when making fine adjustments.
Do you find any problems with both buttons when you click one side does it hit with the other?

If you have any input with logitech after helping design the g pro wireless try to pressure them a little to release the g304/5 wireless in Australia, I still use my G pro cause the 302/1 was never released and I'd kill for a wireless G pro :)

Starting to think that there needs to be another category for gaming mice. There should be “Gaming Mice” that have features such as RGB lights, optional weights, modular, ect. Then there should be a no nonsense lightweight stripped down category called “Pro Series” mice. This way all the debates about those who like mice with features and those who like lightweight stripped down mice can easily discern between the two. The one thing I feel that’s unfortunate however is the price tag on some of these mice is getting out of control and honestly hurts the gaming community because of greed, folks are talking and noticing this now.

remember you can swap the battery inside g903 and g703 to make them as light or lighter as g pro. coz g pro doesnt fit large hand and some grip style.

i wish there is a community that ppl trading mouses. because the only way to find out is use one. and with that, you have to spend so much money. but if ppl trading around. not only you can use many mouse , find the correct one, but also you can trade them out to save money.

Again for ppl who prefer g 403 shape probably doesn't need that light. Mine is extreme case here. Normal battery mod should be suficient

Well prices are different across the world... Just check the prices on the ones you find interesting. RJN doesn't have to do everything for us, we can spare a few clicks here and there :)
If he put the MSRP in his Top 40 list, it would be much easier for buyers to decide which mouse to look at.
If one mouse costs $150 USD and another costs $50 USD, and they're both in his Top 40, people can just look at the mice based on their price range.

Who is able to offer any wireless solution now, guess you can go for other mice, the G603 and G703 are way cheaper, and offer more or less the same as the Pro Wireless. Need a wireless solution, price range G403 cheapest, not that good, G603, G703, it starts with $60 i guess, till $150 for the G903 or Pro Wireless. Getting the same for $80 on the G703?
If Bluetooth is enough, you can start at $15!
Could i recommend detailing the mouse feet more and even perhaps recommending replacements such as hyperglides or corepadz because when comparing the ultralight you should always make people aware of just how bad the feet are. This also might make FM consider upgrading them
The g903 for me is the best I been using it for about a couple weeks now and I honestly find it better then the 502.

u know my mouse can do 1000hz, but i keep it at 500hz, almost double the life of my g305 battery, with no performance lost.

If you have the money and your hand size is appropriate, I would get the Ultralight Phantom over the G Pro Wireless. You can slap some corepad skatez on it and get a mouse bungee. This gives you the wireless feeling and kills one of the more pressing issues with the Ultralight Phantom.
I tried to g703. It was uncomfortable for my large hands. Death Adder Elite isn't as popular on the pro scene, but it's the most ergonomic for me. Basilisk was awesome for sniping, but something about it was awkward and a bit small.
No mention of the G903's buttons/click quality and how it compares to the G Pro Wireless? I have a G900 and am curious to hear how the G Pro Wireless' clicks and modular side buttons stack up against the feel of its predecessor.

The motospeed k27 and v30 doesn't look bad, the ergonomics on most of the cheap keypads are nonexistent, but I would love to see your take on them.

I own a Logitch G502 for 3 years and i'm thinking of buying a Rival 600. I never own a steelseries before do you think the rival 600 in terms of quality and sensor is as good or better the logitech g502?? The only problem of g502 is the weight. Hope to get an honest opinion fro you. Keep doing the amazing work you do.

I have a 19.7x9.9 hand size and the FK2 was too small for me, FK1 would of been more suitable. Can't say for the G Pro wireless. I own a g900 tho and I guess it's got a little too much depth as logitech calls it. Currently using the ZA12 and it's like a perfect fit.

Zy, thank you for such thorough and informative mouse reviews. I bought the G Pro Wireless based on your review and it is amazing. You mention in previous reviews that on the G305, 400 and 800 DPI seemed jerky. What DPI do you play at or recommend? Also, why do so many pro's play using 400 and 800 dpi?

mrzazzaable depends on grip. Personally g305 because its shape fits fingertip grip really well. GproWL has a more mainstream shape, similar to Razer Deathadder and Logitech G403

I used fk2 then switched to g pro wired, it feels like that I aim better with fk2 but g pro just feels like sensor is better, maybe it is me, tomorrow I'm getting g pro wireless and I'm very excited about it because if it has similar shape to fk1/fk2 I think I'm going to love it.
Big problem with the finalmouse is the 500hz polling rate if you have 240hz monitors

its 130 pounds in the UK which isn't cheap but it around the same price as the g903 or cheaper according to amazon when that was released, now its kinda annoying since i bought a new mouse like 2 weeks before this one came out and then had to buy a mouse bungee so ive spent nearly the same amount as the g pro wireless.
The G pro wireless and G pro are strenuous to use because they are too "low". G403 feels so much better for me. Also have you noticed that pretty much all CS:GO pros use Zowie mice? Why is that? Their sensor is inferior and will spin out no?
Zy, I can't decide between the S2 or the G pro wireless. My handsize is 17.5 CM x 9.5 CM and I use claw grip. I love the shape for both of them tho. Could you please help me?
I would love to buy g305 but my hands are 20 10 cm. I use fingertip and claw hybrid. Not sure if g305 wouldn’t be too small for me. Im using rival 100 for now. Its good overall mouse but i want wireless and better sensor. Also hump isnt my fav thing about the mouse. I often touch it when fingertipping. When i tryed some mice in shop rival 310 felt really good. Also it had great buttons. But i feel like it wouldn’t be good for fingertip. Also g pro wireless is just too expensive for me right now. My choice is between g305 and rival 310. They are nearly same price. And i like both.
Hey, Zy. I Know is quite a unknow mouse but ever thought about reviewing the Alienware 958 (the newer one, at least I think there is a newer one)? I'm curious about that thing.
I can't seem to find much info on this, but what is your view on cable drag? I watched your video, and read a lot of stuff online, but do you think it brings about an inconsistency in the aim that is important to take into account? Some mice, like the g403, give me some discomfort with the cable being thick and heavy. So I've changed. But when I think about it, it's still there and I wonder what a veteran like you thinks on the inconsistency.
I now have the Rival 310 and love it, but as I just said, it isn't wireless. Is wireless the best then? Should I run with a g403 wireless or another suggestion (the mouse here is a tad expensive haha)?

-Note: I do use a mouse bunjee. The cable itself still touches the mousepad, as tightening it to the point where it's off the pad would limit the range I have.
A trick I use that I found even better then mouse bungees is to tape the cable to the side of your monitor. The increased angle prevents the first cm or 2 of cable from touching the pad like it would a bungee. But that's just my setup yours could be different.
I know this one isn't on the list, but I still love my Roccat KPOE. I just don't think that this new G Pro can replace my KPOE, especially the scrollwheel.

Recently bought the FK2 and i can't complain about the sensor. It even feels more accurate then Razer DA but that could be me.
Fk2 is a better size and it feels better than DA with exactly 17cm hands

FK2 is the bomb! I still feel like my aim was slightly better with the WMO
