Navarre Beach Surf Fishing. 6 pompano limit! And a bonus fish!

- Finally, achieved a limit of pompano. Fish were scattered in different areas, so I did a fair amount of walking. I walked down the beach until I caught my limit of 6 fish. I decided to time lapse the walk back to my car to give you an idea of the distance and how empty the beaches can be during the weekdays at the National Seashore in Navarre Beach. Enjoy!
Just got done fishing here! It is such a beautiful area! We did decent on Pompano but we did not discover this area until it was the weekend and all the crowds were around!
April is usually very productive for fishing the beach in Navarre. There are stretches of beach that aren't as crowded as long as you're willing to make a 20 or 30 minute walk down the beach.
@@beachgroceriesfishing Yeah we hauled a bunch of gear I was not going to make that long of a walk haha we found much more success there then anywhere else though. We fished from Panama City beach and stopped at many beaches between there and Pensacola.

Pound for Pound Pompano put up a hell of a fight....Good Work...!!!
I love sight fishing for them with a jig, but there hasn't been enough clear calm days this spring.
@@beachgroceriesfishing I have not tried that....I want to try and catch a Flounder from the beach with an artificial on my next trip down..!!!
