Two points that needs to be added is that you can charge battery at home, office or outside (like Tata and others) but CNG can be filled only at dedicated pumps with long waiting at present. 2nd point is that Tiago being a small car, the CNG version would have much lesser boot space compared to EV.
Then there is the spirited acceleration that one can never expect in CNG vehicles.

Electric vehicles have zero RTO registration fees. Other cars have 9% registration fees on showroom price. So you are saving 80 to 90 thousand rupees of registration fees.
Electricity costs is 4 rupees per unit where I live. If Tiago EV goes 8 to 10 km per KWh, then it will cost around 40 to 50 Paisa per km as compared to 6 to 7 km per km for petrol version of Tiago. If you drive Tiago EV for 10 years/ 100000 km , you are likely to save around 6 to 7 lakh rupees over petrol version.

But wat about deterioration in battety-working perfomance/output?? ,, means perhapes after 2-3 years it will give lesser mileage??, than how battery-warranty will be calculated? Or whether battery will give fixed mileage througout warranty period/life long?!
On what calculation EV battery will degrade after 2-3 years. There are 2 year old Nexon EVs on the road at present with no sign of battery degradation. Company is giving 8 years battery replacement warranty so should be good for at least that time.

But as per u, if there is no degradation, & batteries r so robust, with constant output(mileage) ,,than it's good.
KV don’t go by hearsay . If you follow proper charging practices then the battery will last you much longer or may be it may outlast you.

Don’t ask what but ask When if at all new entire battery is to be installed. Answer is never . These batteries are made of individual cells and only few go bad and can be easily replaced at a reasonable cost .This will make the battery new and the process can be repeated many many times .
In short the battery will outlive the owner
@@sachinnayal yes you are right. Unless you drive more than 1,60,000 kilometers before 8 years. I have been offered a EV which is 2012 model and has completed 1,99,000 kilometers with original batteries which are at 100% capacity and efficiency.

Its battery is warranted for 8 years to be above 80% of full range. The battery won’t become useless after 8 years, it will still have decent range for the city usage. Moreover people have been using Tesla’s old batteries in homes for solar power storage. In ten years you will have Vehicle to Grid functionality, that is your EV will be able to power your home electricity in case of an emergency, and it will be a place to store energy if you have solar panels on your roof.
Buying a Tiago is a no brainer, better to go for the longer range one.

Sir, you should tell about maintenance of CNG v/s EV
Less moving parts in EV, so maintenance is very low compared to CNG. No oil change required, just brake fluid and transmission oil need changing, you can look at tiger ev maintenance schedule to get a better idea. This results in much cheaper maintenance costs for an EV. Ho[e this helps.

Thanks sir I have come to know from some insurance vendor that if your car is being Damaged in Accident & your Battery will be damaged the Insurance company will pay omly 50% of the cost .i e If your battery cost is 8 lakh₹ Insurance company will pay fifty% of these 8 lakhs.Is it true?

5 saal me battery badalni hi kyu hai tumko, mobile kharidte ho to battery ki warranty 2 saal ki hoti hai to kya 2 saal baad mobile ki battery badal dete ho. Pagal jaisa calculation karte ho.
