Guys, there are videos out on the web for making your own Just Egg (without any preservatives). It's just soaked split mung beans that are whirred in a blender with a little turmeric for color and a tiny little bit of Indian Black Salt (for the egg-y sulfur taste).
@@PlantBasedBistro Sorry to hear that! I got mine to work and make a nice, "foldable" omelet (like a McMuffin kind of thing) by adding a little tapioca starch.
It seems like making the just egg mixture wouldn't be THAT hard, but the one time I followed a recipe, it really didn't work out for me (though it was before I had a decent way of blending it) I would be interested in your take if you figure it out! Also, I am interested in some of the WTF method seitan as you mentioned that in a previous video (and I think I forgot to mention it on that one)
Looks delicious!
I love it! Yummy yummy
It really was!
I just stumbled onto your channel a couple days ago and I can't stop watching it everything you make I'm going to try. look amazing!
Awesome! Glad you like it!
I love making Frittatas with Just Egg (or the homemade version using mung beans).

Yup and I have tried them... they don't work as expected.

Looks great. I make my own just egg replacement with yellow mung beans. But i plan to try your recipe.
We are trying to perfect that actually!
You got me with your title! I didn't know there was a product called "Just Egg"
I am glad you are on our vegan 🌱 side 🙏❤
😉
Do you think grated, squeezed potatoes would work in this recipe?
If you wanted to, sure. I would cook them first.

We did a WTF video a while back: ua-cam.com/video/kl0oxzVGkp8/v-deo.htmlsi=4VLA5bwCtGDlZflH
Yup, I tried a bunch of recipes for Just Egg replacements and found them lacking.
I've tried several 'mung bean eggs' recipes - and so far they have not been promising.
Same here.
