That battery is one of the nicer quality builds that I've seen on your channel. So many are like a pig in a poke. You never know what's inside until you open them up.
When I worked on exchange battery banks (50V) the policy was no rings, bracelets, watches etc. The story that got around was a guy lost his finger when his ring touched the two bus bars. True? I don't know, but it made me remove all metal jewellery from my hands.
Why would they bother making such a big pack 36volts ?im asking because ive got a 15ah 36volt i cant understand why they'd make it 36volts as its got 60cells 10s 6p of Highend cells any idea
Unfortunately they're ceramic and my fingers won't blow up just get 😭 but the carbon fibre screwdriver is a very good tool, 0 risk of shorting anything... Don't let the shininess fool you, it's carbon... Honest

I think this was an upper end eBay pack - cost the customer around £650 GBP
Very clever working on high power battery pack, with rings on every finger
kabooom! fingies go bye bye... they're ceramic, though :)
@@EbikeRepairs The silver ones?

I'm sure it's very dangerous! My rings are ceramic 👍
@@EbikeRepairs Very cool, very smart!

Probably just to match the 36v controllers they have laying around by the million!
12 minutes of the video is him opening the battery, 1 minute of the video is somewhat informative
Skip to the good bit 🎉
It is essential not to have rings on your fingers when repairing batteries or electrical appliances..!
Ceramic rings are ok though :)
Always wear lots of rings just in case the metal screwdriver fails to short things 😂.
