Can you please share a Balancing board that would work for a 24v battery. I received some "sleeping" 24V batteries from an old solar project. The batteries are reported as NOT CHARGING. They are Valence U27-24XP tHANKS,
Since this video I put all the other batteries thru the test , they all charge for 1500wh and discharge at least 1100wh of ac ( already converted by the inverter )
Linda Martin phosphate don't get jump start like cells into a drill battery where if it gets too low then the BMS never wakes up. This is not a matter of the BMS sleeping. It's a matter of unbalanced sales
Active balancing bord is a must for all lithium battery Bms most of the time can't do a good job Etlist not the affordable ones . Expensive one's might do .
You say it is not possible to top balance because the cells are welded. Why not just connect power source to individual cells and charge all to 3.6 (or 3.55 with absorption)?
Yes, you're correct. You could do that individually. One cell at a time, but that will be quite complicated. I don't know if it's going to take less than buying a balancing board because the balancing board will solve both problems. I also will keep them balanced in the future
@@VegasRoManiacReviews Mind you, a balancing board will imbalance your battery at low state of charge. There’s a welded connection on it if you unweld it and install a switch to turn on balancing only when top balancing it, nearly every 3 months.

Thank you, I have the same problem so I'll be doing the same fix. Does the balancing board come with instructions?
Not really
I get a few of them for my projects never came with manual
Check the seller were you buy it .
Or Google
Did you test the other batteries? I wonder how much unbalance they have.

Everyone is talking about 12v lithium,is it the same way with 24v lithium (jump starting)

It's definitely doing a good job
Very interesting. Thanks for posting.
