Thanks for the video my friend! Crazy what a mess they made in the “Revamp” of the app! I’ve been doing the updates avoiding it using the airplay option for the most part. Maybe they will eventually get things all right again! Always appreciate all your fun vids and comparisons too! Prost

@@thisishazno8536 thanks for the reply! Even After the update of the app and speakers it was so bad last night. Basically unusable. Not recognizing subs, cutting out,music out of sync, not loading Apple Music playlists etc. restart and use Airplay and that worked. On your question I sure do wish the Lock Screen or volume buttons control would be brought back. Been awhile since they removed that. Nice to see the 0-100 numbers back at least! Overall still a mess!
@@DavidJohnson-np6io yeah i feel you frustration then my friend, but hopefully all those features will be back soon. But when the system doesnt recognize a speaker or sub thats more frustrating cause i have seen alot of people with the same issue. Its a shame an update has made it so bad for Sonos. Yeah the volume control buttons is something i would love to see back on the new app aswell.
@@thisishazno8536 100% agreed!! when they work well the multi room Sonos are great. As you mentioned it’s hard in the Ace PS5 test it’s to beat a wired connection! Unless the wires get cut lol. I have a Small McIntosh system in the kitchen/dining area and a 14-18 yr old 7.1 Pioneer Elite / Definitive Tech “wired” system with Dual powered subs and all my old gear just works when you play it! The Sonos is definitely more convenient but not lately unfortunately! Thanks for all your great content and reply’s to us your fans and subscribers my friend
My system is still bricked, thousands of complaints online about this. System vanished and unable to find after new app update, restarted router many times and it finally found my speakers. Next day system vanished again without return. Any ideas ?
Thanks for watching, that problem is one of the most common one i have read on different forums about the new app. But im sorry i dont have any solution for you. I would contact Sonos support and see whats going on. 🙏

Is there a way to start new playlists or add to an existing playlist? If so, I haven’t been able to do it. Also, why can’t you search for songs, artists, albums, or genres anymore? This app sucks.
Thanks for watching and sorry for the late reply but im on vacation right now. I dont know about the playlist or adding to an existing playlist cause i have never used that feature. But you can search for songs in the spotify app within the Sonos app. Haha yeah i know the app has been a failure and lets hope they will fix the issues soon

I don’t know what’s going on with Sonos all of a sudden my sound just stops playing randomly I have to plug out the hdmi and plug it back in . And it’s been happening after the new app update . I have a lg g1 has this happened to anyone else ? If so how did you fix it. I have my Astro a50s plugged into the tv as well maybe it’s interfering with the signal ?

Called Sonos yesterday they went into the system and updated it. Agent said I should be good guess we will see lol they have good customer service I have to admit

I miss the volume control from the notification shade on Android. I don't see the mute button anymore. I swore I had it before the update.

@@thisishazno8536 All the functions they kicked out from the S2 app! And also the S2 app was a step back compared with the S1 app.
