L'ami absent - Chant pour un forgeron (Viking, GN, LARP)

Poème scaldique, élégie chantée en mémoire de Torsten le forgeron. Ce texte a été écrit par Eric Fagny, alias Vakandi Krákasonur, conteur itinérant et prêtre d’Odin, suite au jeu de rôle grandeur nature « Yggdrasil, le dernier retranchement » organisé par Drakkar Rouge SRL. L’événement s’est tenu dans le domaine du château de Corroy-le-Château (Belgique) les 28 au 30 avril et les 1er au 3 septembre 2023.
J'ai interprété ce chant pour la première fois le samedi 2 septembre 2023 dans la taverne avec Sigrid (flûte) et Eivarr (talharpa). Nous avons eu la chance d'être accompagnés par Jo Rey au chant et au tambourin. La chanson "L'ami absent" ne repose que sur un tiers du texte présenté à cette occasion. Une suite est prévue.
Un hommage aux organisateurs et leur équipe pour leur dévouement. Un remerciement aux joueurs (PJs et PNJs) pour leur implication et leur bienveillance.
Puisse ce poème honorer les valeurs humanistes du jeu de rôle grandeur nature.

Here's a dedication to the organisers of a Belgian LRPG.
Scaldic poem, elegy sung in memory of Torsten the blacksmith. This text was written by Vakandi Krákasonur, travelling storyteller and priest of Odin, following the life-size role-playing game ‘Yggdrasil, le dernier retranchement’ organised by Drakkar Rouge SRL. The event was held in the grounds of Corroy-le-Château castle (Belgium) from 28 to 30 April and 1 to 3 September 2023.
I performed this song for the first time on Saturday 2 September 2023 in the tavern with Sigrid (flute) and Eivarr (talharpa). We were lucky enough to be accompanied by Jo Rey on vocals and tambourine. The song ‘L'ami absent’ is based on only a third of the text presented on this occasion. A sequel is planned.
A tribute to the organisers and their team for their dedication. A thank you to the players (PJs and NPCs) for their involvement and kindness.
May this poem honour the humanist values of life-size role-playing.
