#69: Its good to be out of the shed and go flying, nice build and maiden, this plane not only looks nice in the sky, but it fly's like a dream, well done lads ! Cheers. (better whether is coming, keep the maidens ready ! !)
Nice conversion, a different model is always good to see. Hayling Island, eh? Great memories from down that way from 1950 when I was in the RAF at Thorney flying FF.
As you were flying this beauty I wanted to fly it too as it handles so nicely ! what a really lovely aeroplane it flies so steady and looks great in the air,who would have thought that one day someone would design a low wing version of the Super 60 ? fly her gently Swallow and this model will reward you with many happy hours of flying, first of all learn to handle this lady in calm conditions then progress to the Hayling Island winds,it will take it provided you fly carefully.
Im liking it. Doesnt it sit nice in the air. flies very much like a full size aircraft. lacks a bit or rudder authority and could do with a tad more dihedral.
Yes exactly, when you were on finals it looked superb, going to order that plan to build one for myself, bigger rudder would be good the high wing version suffers the same propblem, yes you have summed it up Rob flies like a full sized machine which cannot be bad.
Very nice plane and great pilot.
Really, I did enjoy the sound from the motor and propeller - it was like a whistle.
Congratulations to the team.
Absolutely brilliant nice one chaps

What a super steady plane! Nice one Brian and well flown Rob.
After seeing the way this flies I purchased a Ben Buckle kit to build next winter, the kit is excellent quality and will make an enjoyable build too.

has the feel of a Pa28a few mods could make it look very much like one.
How about Fletcher FU-24 Crop duster, check it out,it has polyhedral but could be made to look very much like one.
Brill maiden should have had the camera on manual backlight compensation cos Swallows face was a bit dark Lol like his flying.
At last....back outside to blow away the cobwebs! Wise decision to wait for a better day.
look out for the repair video which im sure will be coming soon lol
wow... what motor do you have on it? it's silent!
