I am curious how you guys make the lane switches. Will build my own (wood, based on Carrera Digital) track too, but I think in the end I will have to cannibalise some Carrera track switches...
Back then I made flippers from Perspex and used a car horn relay to activate it. But the track was analogue. On my current track I used peco solenoids to and custom made aluminium flippers that are connect to a lane brain and the scorpius digital system activates them
@@gref9143 Ah! we can barely get our hands on any Scorpius stuff here - as it comes from "Down Under". However Carrera stuff is a plenty. I can make my own flippers (I restore cars) but would like to use that Carrera LED-system.
I will make either a "real life"track (Circuit Zandvoort, NL) or something that I'll design. And then run Carrera Digital 132 (or converted... ) cars on it.
Very nice build, hope you can build a new one soon.
Fly Porsche 911s ran great with magnets! 😂
hahahahahahahahahaha🤣🤣🤣🤣
