- I've got my hands on an early prototype of the Erae Touch II by Embodme! Check out their kickstarter here: www.kickstarter.com/projects/...
In this video I'll show off some of the upgrades in this prototype unit including the addtion of hardware buttons + screen! I'll also show how to customize the device with the editor software.
This video was made in partnership with Embodme.

Hi! My name is TAETRO. thanks for reading to the bottom of this page. i love making music, being creative and also helping other people make music and be creative. you can consider me your electronic music mentor. if you want to support this channel, many of the above links are affiliate links which means you can purchase gear or software at no additional cost and i will get a commission :) even just liking the video and subscribing to the channel helps a ton. thanks for watching the video!
This looks like a really fun bit of kit! Thanks for showing it off! I backed the project after seeing this video!
Hardcore Roli studio blocks vibes. A shame they stopped when Covid hit.
Nice man! Great overview and that loop was fantastic 🤘🤘
Is the color not coming across in video or do the colors actually look that washed out? Maybe the fabric thing?
It's probably the Contrast setting used in post-process. You can see on other of our videos in our channel that the brightness is actually much higher than this. And as Taetro said in the video it's a prototype so we're going to make it even brighter for the final version! Still finalizing our research for the fabric layer material on this matter as well.
wow really cool performance
Damn, it looks amazing !!
How do you think it compares to the push 3 (not in standalone)?
Brooooo absolutely fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yeah nah, I need my physical buttons.
I said that but I got a Launchpad Pro.. & I thought I wanted the physical keys but I find that the super light touch & accidental notes that happen because they are so sensitive.. but I was so wrong!!!
I still have a keyboard.. but it's rarely used as the tactile performance is just way more fun!
I can listen to dis whole day
This is sick 🤩
Their mk 1 was already cool so I’m keen to so how this one shapes up
Im drooling so hard right now lol
Sick beat! I’m not against the interface, but maybe in the future they’ll find more ways to add some depth etc.
I wonder if it looks cool under black light 😮
🥇🏆
It looks great but I just want to know how you’re going to keep it clean
this is not the final version, fabric will be grey with special washable and durable PU coating
That's great to hear!@@edgarhemery6705
If you could feedback to embodme please ask them if possible to add an Euclidean midi sequencer and midi effects . Thanks
Looks nice, but to be honest......no. I want/need knobs, so the Push 3 controller is the one I prefer.
13:17 you can buy another fabric surface and there is a silicon surface...... you can also get "finger condoms "
Does the looper/recorder have undo ? ↩️
yes
@@edgarhemery6705 oh cool. Embodme really thought about everything 😅
Is this pressure sensitive...
Yep
I'm the first commenter and liker!
Roli Light Blocks the mother .
look like better verion of roli block were trying to do
One thing the ROLI Lightpads have going for them is the scripting support. While Erae customisation is way easier and more flexible within the boundaries of what the EraeLab software provides, you can go a lot further with Lightpads via scripting code. Alas it’s super tedious and limited by Lightpad’s small internal memory space.
@@RealGrover oo scripting support? can you elaborate a bit? Does that mean you can essentially "hack" the lightpad to do more than what is on the surface? I am assuming if you are plugging into a computer rather than running it in iOS? either way, it sounds interesting indeed
i cant believe this shit taetro....
what's wrong
