    I'm not sure when you changed the format of your videos, but I love them. I stopped watching in 2020 but rediscovered you this year. Such an improvement from 2 years ago. I love the way you present many ways to style an item and the way you explain every choice.

    I love the new background for these recent videos! I appreciate having time to look at the various components of the outfit from a wide angle - makes taking it all in so much easier!

    Thanks for another wonderful vid! The editing for the cutaways split in 3 is so helpful to see subtle differences and variations. Appreciate the hard work there! Didn’t realise the black belt could elevate a look so well, and was sold on barrel legged jeans after seeing you model them in previous vids :) . Used to eye the Levi’s Ribcage jeans but weren’t sure how comfortable they were!

    • @DailyHelenJ
      @DailyHelenJ  2 роки тому +1

      Thank you so much :)) Glad you like the editing! For the ribcage, I tried on one pair in another colour and it was SO uncomfortable for me. But then I sized up in another shade - the denim of that colour was much softer. I recommend if you're interested in trying this style, to play around with sizes and potentially size up/look at different washes as the denim thickness/softness is very different.

      @@DailyHelenJ Oh this is super helpful for me to know - thank you heaps Helen!! I had it in and out of my cart for ages during their last sale and missed out on my size in the end. I’ll be sure to keep that in mind for the next time I (actually) purchase them as they do look pretty good after all :-)

    Great video, I love how in depth you go into describing what pieces work together and give multiple wearable examples, especially for different climates/seasons. I’m based in the UK and we pretty much only have 1 season - grey and windy/rainy so these looks are really helpful!

    Love your barrel leg jeans! The three-day split screen is so helpful to illustrate similar but different variations of one idea. Your explanations are great, and the sound of your voice and the music always makes me feel relaxed and confident about trying something new. Would be great to hear a summary of your main points at the end of a longer video like this. Thank you very much.

    Hey girlie! Instead of raw hem for those jeans so why don't you take it into the tailor and get them hemmed but have them keep the original bottom seams? That way they don't look hemmed they just made for you?
    Idk why and maybe this is just my opinion but a raw hem on those particular jeans might make them feel to casual, and less polished.

    • @DailyHelenJ
      @DailyHelenJ  2 роки тому +1

      This is why I love YT :) Thank you so much, I definitely think I will bring them to the tailor to get them hemmed. I think it will look much better as well compared to a raw hem on these jeans xx

    Helen have you tried styling your hair to a different style? I've been seeing you with the same hair look ever since I subscribed in 2018- long and light curls. I am sure restyling your hair will add to your outfits and bring on more excitement! Instead of top with a twist, try hair with a twist!

    no hate but i dont like how rolled up the jeans are because its highlights the below average height. I would either have it shorted and fold it up once or just bring it to levi to shorten it for free

      I think I agree with you :) I was looking at the rolled up jean in the footage and not 100% loving it on me. We don't have the free shortening in Aus I believe but will be bringing them to the tailor x

    Yes on a review for denim. We are the same height and shape more less and I struggle with jeans. Can you tell me how you find Tibis sizing? That cropped jacked you bought in an xxs which I would never consider. Thank you!

      @DailyHelenJ  2 роки тому

      Happy to share my favourite denim :) For the cropped blazer, it's a very oversized fit throughout. So the XXS fits me comfortably while still giving a very oversized look. It's definitely not tight anywhere, even if I do some layering.
