Thanks for the honest review! Im taking my annual "me" week to the Falls in October. I have pretty bad arthritis, so hoping to find a motel close to everything yet one i can afford. I grew up going to the Falls every summer, stayed at what is now the Econolodge, used to be Travele Inn lol. Unfortunately they're completely smoke free now. Question for you. I know you're a Skylon guy, as a. I. Love watching it. Can you see it from the lower level where your room was? I love sitting out with my morning coffee and just enjoying that view!
I honestly was going to go back while in town the other day to check if that view of the Skylon was good. I know that you can see a bit of it but it would need to be a bit nearer to the parking lot. Either way this is one of the last old school Niagara motel's in decent shape at a great price. Travelodge on Clifton Hill is expensive but the full experience.
Hey for the cheapest it looks fine to me. the smell is surprising since washing them should remove the smell... ( still expensive to me tho lol and i live close so this really doesn't matter to me )
My mother worked in the tourist industry for years in Niagara Falls and I skated in that arena many years ago as well…..thanks for a trip down memory lane….actually I barely recognize my old hometown now and reside in the west presently.
im new to this channel, and it may be small. but i appreciate it ! tho i will only ever go to Niagara falls or canadas wonderland for the foreseeable future
This brought back memories, as a kid, my mom took my family here quite regularly! At that time the motel was pretty busy, and was super fun to go to.
This place still tells stories through the building alone.

I was just looking on google maps and the price was just listed at $40.00 on Sept. 21st - 22nd.
great price and location. Not sure I would stay there though. I'd have to do a more thorough check of the room lol

Comments like this make me wish to explore even more history in the area - more to come for sure :)
She's a bute, Clark.
I wonder how much it is during long weekends like VD, LD, or civic holidays.
I believe around twice what we paid during this stay.
