I love what the one girl said about fashion, do whatever you like. I always feel like I am scared to wear what I like because its not on trend or its too much for a mom of 2. Im definitely stepping out with confidence this year and just wearing what I like and is flattering on my body.

I love the young women and their vintage finds and hand-me-downs. I've got a 20-year-old who does the same. They are so free in their dressing and follow their hearts, not the trends. It's inspiring!

NY'ers just have a thing. You don't see it anywhere else. I love that! If I was there and you stopped me, I would be like, this is from Walmart, Torrid or TJ Max. I don't look for designer wear because I don't value clothing in that way but I love seeing this series of people who have such unique styles! Not runway but the mixing and matching of pieces they find is so cool! My favs were the woman's upturned cateye glasses and the Charlie Chan looking guy with the bowler and spectators! Oh and that furry white coat. And the bracelet on the necklace! Amazing!

I have a recurrent dream of living in a remote village. I'm thriving as I live a quiet solitary life, occasionally walking into town, stopping to smell the flowers & admiring the cobblestone roads. I'm looking into a shop window when KarenBritChick appears & says "Hello, can I ask what you're wearing?"; to which I reply, "Oh, this old thing? Just something I found in my granny's chifferobe". It's never gonna happen but I still wake up smiling every time like it already has🙂. Btw, I also have a dream of being a producer on "What Are You Wearing? Featuring KBC" which is filmed in different locations & broadcast all over the world lol.
My old grandma and great aunts used to wear those chiffon scarves over their curlers or to keep their hair tidy while out shopping. I'm from the UK, it looked great on that young lady!

Love these videos! I remember those see through scarfs when I was a child. The way she wore the scarf is how I remember women wore them in the 60s early 70s . The guy wearing the spectator shoes look so cool 😎 loved his look. That studded hat with the black fur very cool and unique! Your really pick out outstanding fashions 👍🏾 like I always say I could go on and on 😁 and if I could wear my hair and look good bald I would lol unfortunately it would not look good on me ☺️
I love to see the New York styles. I live in a port town at the bottom of New Zealand. These clothes would never be seen here! We are very relaxed about fashion here. Most men would not have heels or a handbag! Soooo different! Thank you for a view of another world!

OMG the white arctic duck boots! I’m retired military and was stationed in Alaska and we were issued those boots! They will keep your feet so warm in sub zero weather. Who would have thought they could be fashionable!! Amazing!💕

My favorite was @oscarbillis. The way he dresses reminds me of my father and his 2 brothers all born in the 1920s and have all passed. I have pictures of all three adult men dressed "to the nines". And they look just like @oscarbillis with the suits and hats and shoes. We are an Italian family, Cappelletti. When I saw those pictures as a kid I thought my Dad and uncles were Mafia...hahahaha. They look just like 1940s gangsters with their over sized suits and coats and hats. Sure would love to have some of those clothes now...right? 💜💙💚💛🧡

I love this series! I think I watch this for your views of NYC as much as for what the people are wearing - you had some really great people in this. Loved the guy in the all vintage; I had wondered if you'd come across any of the vintage community while shooting this series, and he looked so dapper. And the girl in the green coat - feel good and wear what you want is pretty much how I want to approach life, too.
Loved the whole video, it felt far too short but then time flies when you're enjoying yourself!
