"A Bloodsoaked Symphony" Lyrics: My conscious froze when I felt the cold embrace of the hand that crafted me I set my soul ablaze, I crawled through the nether and left a suicide letter next to my own severed head I think I should be dead but that’s the beauty of selling yourself to sin But again, we are men craving winter’s end Wishing to live within our origin again The door to immortality is shut I can’t take much more of the scent of mold This sphere of madness burning in my gut Has trapped me in this house again Mother, I pray that your voice sings me to sleep To save my sanity from the sound of this blood-soaked symphony Father, I pray that your hand is warm again My pain will never end until you both come back to me I can feel the devil’s presence, he never left this house Now I can live my third depth fantasy Draw him straight to me and drain every last drop from his arteries A sacrifice of blood wakes the eye It looks to turn this iron into gold I place my hand upon the ancient god I surrender my life I bring the gift of resurrection The power returns from which it came Now grant me what I have gifted Mother, father come back to me In blood and bone I carve an oath To save this boy from this shattered home Tonight we bathe in blood and drink From the skull of the beast that left his heart so cold In a perfect world we could take his whole family’s soul And fuel our hearts with the hate I have For the beast in us all

If there's one thing that I think is underappreciated about the "new Whitechapel" era, it's the subtle nods to appalachian/folk/country music that is actually present in some of the clean guitar intros that are prevalent on the last two albums. My condolences, I lost my father the same year. The anniversary of his death was actually a couple days ago. So I kind of know what you're going through.
This is so well done, the sound, the emotions from Phil, the actors and everything else. What a pain lives in Phil's heart, only he knows. Suicide and mental health are key. "You're an adult" yes, but I've still lots of hurt inside that never heals (Thinking as Phil).
I was expecting a song that was similar to The Somatic Defilement but honestly I love this song even more because of the story telling elements. I appreciate the fact that Whitechapel can be both extremely heavy and extremely emotional. Kind of similar to Slipknot in a way.

How does this song not have 10 million views? Its so awesome, I've been listening to it a few times a day since it came out. This song is so fucking brutal. The flow of the vocals over the riffs, just superb.
This video hits very close to home with me, personally. I was raised by an alcoholic and abused as a kid growing up. Today, they are both deceased and cremated in their Urns'. I have had many dark thoughts and even went as far as making a few "attempts" of my own. Despite the Hell I endured growing up, I miss them both dearly. Today, I teach young kids' how to play guitar. I play guitar in an aspiring band "Chaotic Demise". Based on our past lives', abuse, current events and the direction we are all headed in. For all of you out there that still have either or both parents, cherish it now. They can leave at any given moment. Even your grands. I have more of my fair share of emotional scars.
What a huge sound.. crushingly heavy, but matured somehow. Again, no gimmicky "look how heavy this section is" moments, just pure weight and that ominous feel.. just listen to that "Come back to me" section after the 2nd chorus. This is shaping up to be an awesome album.
My dad was hit and killed by a car about 30 feet from our house. This was back in 2016. I got no justice, no answers, nothing. And even though he wasn't the greatest dad and even though it was so long ago. I find peace in this song for some odd reason.
Whitechapel has been my favorite metal band since 2007 and Kin is my favorite of all their albums. This album is an incredible piece of artistic expression.

"A Bloodsoaked Symphony" Lyrics:
My conscious froze when I felt the cold embrace of the hand that crafted me
I set my soul ablaze, I crawled through the nether and left a suicide letter next to my own severed head
I think I should be dead but that’s the beauty of selling yourself to sin
But again, we are men craving winter’s end
Wishing to live within our origin again
The door to immortality is shut
I can’t take much more of the scent of mold
This sphere of madness burning in my gut
Has trapped me in this house again
Mother, I pray that your voice sings me to sleep
To save my sanity from the sound of this blood-soaked symphony
Father, I pray that your hand is warm again
My pain will never end until you both come back to me
I can feel the devil’s presence, he never left this house
Now I can live my third depth fantasy
Draw him straight to me and drain every last drop from his arteries
A sacrifice of blood wakes the eye
It looks to turn this iron into gold
I place my hand upon the ancient god
I surrender my life
I bring the gift of resurrection
The power returns from which it came
Now grant me what I have gifted
Mother, father come back to me
In blood and bone I carve an oath
To save this boy from this shattered home
Tonight we bathe in blood and drink
From the skull of the beast that left his heart so cold
In a perfect world we could take his whole family’s soul
And fuel our hearts with the hate I have
For the beast in us all

"I think I should be dead bit that's the beauty of selling yourself to sin. But again we are men craving winter's end, wishing to live within our origin again". Very heavy words.
This song hit me so hard, my mother passed away in January of 2016 and my dad has cancer. I read the lyrics and I balled my eyes out like it was a rainy day in Niagara falls.
I know everyone is different but I fill your pain Phill Bozeman you keep going all love here.
Slipknots ass. Stop lol.
@@Rustykrabz Youre the ass for thinking slipknot isnt good, im not even a big fan of them and i know theyre one of the greats of modern heavy metal. corey taylor is an amazing vocalist and has made heavy and emotional songs in all his years with slipknot
Slipknot is good, clean fun. Iowa is a masterpiece.
@@bagle58 saying Slipknot is ass is just completely denying all the changes they've made in the past 20+ years, sure everyone can have opinion so I'm not bothered by it. But that's why I love modern Whitechapel, because it gives me the same vibes as Slipknot, that being emotional and heavy❤❤
@@Rustykrabz The most influential metal band of the last 20 years. I respectfully disagree with you.
Damn! Phil once again showing why he's the king of deathcore!!!🤘🤘
Chilling... deep...dark . And knowing what happend to his parents when he was young just makes this so real. Absolutely amazing
ALRIGHT ive already heard this song atleast 20 times and can confirm this song slaps
After listening to this for 2 years, I gotta admit this is quite good.
I’m not even sure what to say after this…. I have no words, just raw primal emotion. Knowing the premise and history of The Valley, then leading into this new album is just an open wound spraying out all the toxicity that has been festering for an eternity. Like I said, no words. Excellent job fellas…. Love you guys.
Whitechapel will never not be my favorite band and this right here is why. damn near 15 years now and running on my end
How does this song not have 10 million views? Its so awesome, I've been listening to it a few times a day since it came out. This song is so fucking brutal. The flow of the vocals over the riffs, just superb.
Are you still listening though
Same as me, I've been listening to this for about 3 months nonstop
Because 10m people haven't watched it
This video hits very close to home with me, personally.
" no gimmicky "look how heavy this section is" you missed it, it was at 3:01
@@Grisu. is this your first deathcore song? thats called a breakdown, theyre in every deathcore song lol
The dad at 0:26 is looking at the camera like he’s sayin, “sooooooon don’t be selling your soul and bringin me back now ya hear?”
He looks like demon Dean winchester from supernatural when he gets the black eyes.
This song hits home so hard. Lost both my parents a few weeks apart in July and August. My heart aches.
I don’t really like this type of music but this song drove me somewhere. anger and emotions and love at the same time. Great song.
After listening to a Phil Bozeman interview about his life these songs make more sense now the valley and kin are basically his life stories
LET'S GO BOYS! Hype for the Dec 17th show 🤘🏻
This legit had me choked up. I just lost my mother to doctors who did not give her proper care... She still would be here if they didn't mess up. Now i am taking care of my dad while I, myself am on dialysis at 33 yeara old.
3:48 didn’t know Dean Winchester became a demon and a metal band
Thought I was the only one to see the resemblance:)
Those guys got true talent, and already an impressive discography! All hail to Whitechapel and their loyal record label: HAIL to Metal Blade Records! 🫡😈👍🏻
10 seconds into this song and God dam, brought happy tears to my eyes to hear how heavy and brutal this song is, I feel like I'm watching supernatural with the best soundtrack ever
Whoa. Anyone else going holy shit about every 10-15 seconds of the song?
This song takes me back to my teen days where I first found whitechapel on a cold fall day and absolutely fell in love, this is so good!
Same!
Now we are both in our 20's... btw, love the Within Destruction Yōkai pfp.
@@thelastdaybreathinginetern1385 haah yes both in our 20s and loving the same kind of music and thanks I love the album art so much and idk why lol
This right here is why you gotta listen to everyhing and try it. Dudes im typing this as im listening and it just keeps getting better. This is insane. Your vocals are crazy dude. So so good
Hands down, the best band on the planet! This was incredible and I can not wait for this album!! Already pre ordered! Guys, keep doing what you're, you're only getting better!
The Acacia Strain has these guys beat but they're still cool
this is their best song and video so far!!!!!
This is friggin huge! I love it, this album is going to be so good!
DUUUUUUUDE HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!! His range for deathcore vocals in 2024 is UNFUCKINGREAL!!!! He’s literally the greatest deathcore vocalist to date in my mind!! Go Phil Bozeman!!!! \m/ \m/ 🖤💀🖤
I came to listen to this song expecting only another brutal song I would like, but I faced this masterpiece with some of the highest emotional levels ever for me, it trully made me cry in anger at the end feeling all this pain I could relate. Can’t wait for the full opus.
"this sphere of madness burning in my gut..." you guys hit the nail on the head lol
0:45, this is the type of groove that only whitechapel can make
MOST CHILLING SONG I HAVE HEARD THIS YEAR.
I lost my mom and dad 15 years apart and I'm only 36. The line of "Mother, Father, come back to me" hits me very fucking hard. But not as hard as this song.
Honestly Phil has always been a great songwriter, but lately it's on a completely different level. He's a genius, and I love that he's willing to be vulnerable enough to write about traumatic shit which is why we all relate so much.
I don't usually pre-order media, but when I do its influenced by teasers like this. Absolutely amazing song and video. Been listening on repeat since this one dropped. Can't wait for release!
My fav song in the album ! This is my introduction too white chapel! I can tell Phil Bozeman is a legend already !
The lyrics on this are so damn good! Looking forward to the entire album.
This might be the darkest WHITECHAPEL video yet, also, do NOT abandon the Tennessee SAW logo
Goddamn. THAT is how you do a really emotional song and still have it be heavy as fuck. Loving all this new stuff so much \m/
This band has sky rocketed to my top 10 and I do not see them slowing this momentum at all. Killer music, killer video, these guys are definition of trailblazer and legend!!!
I miss my Mom....."COME BACK TO ME!" This song is so deep......it moved my soul - the heaviness, the message.....pure brutality!
These lyrics from the first line to the end is haunting, fantasy driven, beautiful. Like a movie
I don't say this often, but omg, this is a masterpiece. Thank you for this
Absolutely love how all his songs are tying together telling the story.... This song is legit Tier 1 shit I absolutely loved it.
Its been a while since I've been in the metal scene and now coming back after not listening to Whitechapel for a few years I am IN LOVE with this! Super dope to see Phil, (probably the vocalist that inspired me most) still destroying is amazing!!! Keep it up!!!
This song is on another level
Watching Whitechapel grow for the past 14 years has been such a fucking great experience. The direction they've gone in these past couple tracks, leading up to the new album, is so dark and explorative and I so look forward to see what the future holds for this band. Phil will always be my number one dude! 🖤 Stay Brutal
I agree with you :)
Wow honestly seeing stuff like this makes my heart happy bc they deserve all the love. I’ve been supporting them for only 6 years and I’m so incredibly proud of them
@Autumn Stevens well, to be fair I am quite a bit older than you 😅 and it's not about how long you've been supporting them, as long as you do! 🥰 I'm just one of the lucky ones who caught them towards the beginning of their career (I was 15/16 at the time) and stayed a fan ever since 🤓
holy shit that solo guitar that goes through chorus does it for me. Such great melody.
Phil Bozeman was not fucking around man. This is beautiful.
