I had a chihuahua that I fostered for a rescue, he had actually been returned twice by other fosters for his aggressive behavior. I was not told any of this until I picked him up from the vet for the rescue and the vet tech handed me his leash and said “He’s sassy!” That’s the only info I got to prepare me for what I was in for. He was aggressive with everyone except me (unless I was giving him his eye meds then he’d attack me like that). I had him as a “forever foster” (as they eventually deemed him as unadoptable due to his aggression) for 5 yrs until he passed away (he was 15), he is one of my favorite pets. We were so close. Miss him so much. Ty for the video.

Lucky was so clearly a happy, healthy, beloved boy, and seeing his videos brings a smile to my face and warmth to my heart. Thank you for rescuing him and giving him such a wonderful life.
I could never believe you would hurt that little dog even before I ever saw this video.
What a beautiful story, wonderfully told. 😢
First time I see Lucky. A blessing this little cute dog. For your beautiful family. I see the love. R I P gorgeous Lucky 🐾♥️
we all miss lucky
What an endearing tribute. It was fate for you to find and save him. Lucky truly was just that.💗
After my lifelong dogpanion died, I sunk into a deep hole and didn't dig out until I rescued Bishop, who we thought was a rat terrier. Turns out he's a lab-chihuahua mix...he is 50lbs of hot mess and the original Lucky video makes our family laugh and gives us some bearing as we navigate life with a demon dog. Every day one us says "I pet my dog!". We also have a special needs daughter and, for all the haters out there, love ONLY grows bigger when you open your heart up and challenge your perception of normal. Thank you for sharing Lucky with all of us and I'm sorry for your loss.
I Never wouldve thought that a video about a chihuahua could make me feel so peaceful and warm.
Awww 🥰. We miss him too! He was “lucky” to have you as his parents. 🐶❣️We have 2 chihuahuas and they are such devoted little buddies.
Lucky is an amazing dog and he will always will be beloved by his family and the internet I want to say thank you for being the true hero’s of saving him from the start when no one else did. You gave him an amazing life and such love and care and he will always know that. Thank you.
Loved his story, thank you for sharing. Sorry for you loss
I ran a rescue and the "Lucky" dogs were my favorite. I kept a few! He was so lucky you were driving by. I'm sorry for your loss.
The poor little beast, he is so lucky to have found you guys hence the name. I love your Videos Paul and never thought for a second you were treating Lucky in a harsh way, I really feel the people that react in such a silly negative way have a bit of growing up to do!!
paul rugg this is like reading a bible of my most favorite animal, dogs, i love dogs so much that i even have 2 dogs and i adore them so much, although lucky may not be with us in person, he will be with us in spirit and always live in our hearts and love us all for loving him
i hope he has a nice afterlife in chihuahua heaven up there, i shall hope the best for him up there.
I've rescued 4 chihuahuas. 2 seniors and they were great. The only one that was a puppy, Poppy, left us 5 months ago after 11 years. I miss her so much. I can see he was loved.
God bless Poppy’s soul. I’m glad you rescued her and at least she is in an even better place.
You and your family, are great good persons, and lucky was very lucky, the day you saw in the way. Congratulations to all you. 😘😘😘🥰😍😘🥰😍
A person who takes this many pictures of their dog could never hurt them or abuse them. I’m sorry for your loss, but he was one happy dog.
I know Lucky was very loved and "lucky" to have you as his pet Parents. I still watch your videos just to see Lucky and to laugh. Lucky was one of a kind and he is dearly missed. Thank you for sharing your personal story about Lucky.
God Bless you and your family a million times Mr. Rugg for changing Lucky's life and giving him so much love! Too bad negative people "bark" before they know what they are talking about!!!
Thank you for giving Lucky such a wonderful life! We will miss him ❤️

🥰✌🏼❤️❣️🇨🇦
I love little lucky!!!
I would absolutely welcome a little dog like him
I can see nothing but love for all the videos you have with Lucky in them and what a trooper you are throughout, Paul! Much love to you and your family!
My family recently got a chihuahua, her name is Sadie. I finally understand why that say chihuahuas are rascals lol. When I try to pet her she bites a whole ton.
