It was so cute to see all those little dogs jumping all over him when he got home. It's wonderful he stepped up and is taking care of all these Chihuahuas in need.

@Tim D and @wendy, my beloved Chihuahua of 7 years was run over and killed by a truck right in front of my eyes on 12-20-19, a week before Christmas. I can only say that it was a freak accident. She darted from my yard to cross a residential street to greet someone walking toward my house that she knew. She was on her way back to me and she almost made it when the truck came and she was unseen by the driver. She was literally at the edge of the road when she was struck. I was, and still am devastated. I am just lately able to sleep through most nights without waking up with PTSD, but I still have relapses. It will get better over time but I miss her presence everyday. She was the smartest, funniest, most amazing dog who was my dearest companion. The harshest thing is that I saw her take her last breath. One second she was alive and the next she was gone. I love her beyond the universe. She will forever be in my heart. She was a Chihuahua mix and a rescue but she really rescued me.
This man is a sweetheart, Chihuahuas are soooo badly misunderstood. It's heartbreaking. Most of the time any behavioural issues are from the wrong owners/home. A lot of people who buy them don't have realistic expectations, haven't done any research, don't really understand small dogs & what an enormous responsibility they are... Bobby really gets them. What a darling.
This is so true. I have 3 of my own and they are the best companions a person can have. My oldest is 12 years old and only 6 pounds and despite her old age she’s still in excellent shape and rules with an iron paw!
Oh yes chihuahuas get a bad rap . As stated i have two of them. The first one was a puppy and i tried to tell my granddaughter you talk in those high voices and you’ll excite it’s brain and sure enough that one is a crazy nut. The second one i said be calm talk quiet and she is such a quiet sweetheart and goes with me almost everywhere. I was a nurse and a co worker her husband would bring hers to where we worked and i thought she was nuts as she went in and on about her two. But i see now why she loved them so much.
Yes, I used to own big dogs. Most of the horrible rumors are from big dog owners who have never even owned a chihuahua. Their dog attacks you little dog and they get upset when he fights or barks back. In reality, my dogs is the quietest dog I’ve ever had. He’s the most affectionate, and he is the smartest (very easy to train and food driven). They are so chill and low maintenance. Yeah, he doesn’t like most big dogs, but they are usually the first to bark at him. He’s fine with all people and other small dogs. We were attacked by a family and their German shepherd (the big dog was off leash at a normal park -not a dog park). I was walking my dog on a leash. Their dog came charging at us growling and barking . I immediately picked my dog up and kicked at the attacking dog. Meanwhile the family is insanely upset at me for protecting myself from being bitten by thei untrained off leash dog. Finally, they get it away after I had to kick it to keep it from biting me. I told them this wasn’t a dog park . It’s insane how entitled they were. It’s dangerous how people get any dog, let alone large dogs and don’t socialize or train them. People get big dogs as status symbols now. It’s crazy and shouldn’t be allowed. It also makes no sense to have a large dog in a city.

He said he had a kennel license so he might be getting financial help. There are rescues amd shelters that will help rescuers and fosters with vet bills and such. He might also get donations and such. Either way, he's treating those dogs the way they deserve.

First of all he is a male so a male can not be a ''mom'' in the first place and since they are animals and he is a guy then obviously he can not be the ''dad'' either bcz no person is related to any animal. He is not the parent, it is called a pet owner only, animal rescuer or pet owner should be used instead.
I think “addicted” isn’t the right word. It’s a good thing. They make him seem crazy but really it’s amazing how he is so kind and generous enough to help out animals.

What an amazing story of love and care for Gods simple little pups. Hats off to you Mr. Humphrey . I have some people look at me like what’s wrong with me as I sit holding my best friend ever. Butkus like Bobby Humphrey had helped me get through the loss of a 40 year career pumping concrete. A on job injury put me flat on my back for several years . TBIs are no joke. After my second TBI my pup was trained to alert me for a sezour before I fall on my head again.Butkus was 6 when he started training as a service pup and now at 16 is my best buddy till our end. Watching g this man Humphrey rescue all those chis shows me I’m not the only only one that cares for these little dynamos. God Bless.

Actually, it is heart-warming to see a man loving and caring for small animals that no one else wants..., but a "saint" is someone who has been saved by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. And only God can bless someone. God sees how we treat other people in this life, not animals. When someone loves animals more than people, and calls themselves a Christian, they need to really pray for forgiveness and help in their walk with the Lord. I have dogs myself, and they are part of the family, no doubt, and enrich my life a great deal. But the real feat or accomplishment in these last days, is to love thy neighbor as thyself. That's what we should all be striving for.
I owned pitbulls my whole life. After they all passed I went Dogless for years. I eventually got 2 chihuahuas, twin brother and sister, and my life is forever changed because of them. The 2 sweetest dogs I've ever seen. Everyone that meets them falls in love. I understand wanting to rescue all of them.

Same, was always a pitty mom. Right now Piggy is 8 1/2 yrs old APBT, then got Blondie - a heinz 57 rescue a few years ago about 4 yrs now. Then we added Chi-Pom Tottie this last fall as a pup she’s about 9 months old now. I think I’m a little dog person now! I love my pack right now though, I wish I could keep them all exactly how they are together today. But reality exists and as time goes on it will be littles from now on.

Not forced to stay inside, and never get to walk anywhere cause they are constantly carried, handled only by one person and never to meet other dogs.... just by looking at all those lil pups i can tell they have a lot more stable mindset then those of over babied dogs❤❤❤❤❤ great video!!!

Chihuahuas are great companions. They're easy to maintain, no grooming needed because long haired chis coat don't get tangled much. Because they're small, they don't eat much unlike the bigger breeds. They're territorial, sweet, and clingy. Since when did you have Chihuahuas?

My kind of guy, a dog lover and does something about it by rescuing and loving them. I adopted a Long Haired Chihuahua who has been beaten and locked up for 4 years. The rescue centre told me he's a biter, but I still adopted him and the first thing he did was bite me and puncture a vein. Two years on and he's a proper mummy's boy and loves his kissies and cuddles ❤❤❤

You are so right, Lauren. Our little Chihuahua had been mistreated. She was 8 when we adopted her. After two years, she now trusts us and her personality is coming out in spades. This man is a delight to watch. May there be many more we haven't heard about yet.

Sir i never had chihuahuas before but have two of them now and they are funny .One is hyper the other is calm. The hyper one barks and the calm one is so quiet. And like you they helped me get over being lonely after my husband left after 41 years . Plus i have yorkies .

I told them this wasn’t a dog park . It’s insane how entitled they were. It’s dangerous how people get any dog, let alone large dogs and don’t socialize or train them. People get big dogs as status symbols now. It’s crazy and shouldn’t be allowed. It also makes no sense to have a large dog in a city.
I have huge respect for this man who knows how much it does mean not to buy pets but adopting them from shelters❤

He said he had a kennel license so he might be getting financial help. There are rescues amd shelters that will help rescuers and fosters with vet bills and such. He might also get donations and such. Either way, he's treating those dogs the way they deserve.

He is deranged. First of all he is a male so a male can not be a ''mom'' in the first place and since they are animals and he is a guy then obviously he can not be the ''dad'' either bcz no person is related to any animal.

As a chihuahua mum myself it made me so happy to see this man taking care of so many chihuahuas. They’re such a misunderstood breed as he’s proven how loving they can be if you open your heart to them

What an amazing story of love and care for Gods simple little pups. Hats off to you Mr. Humphrey . I have some people look at me like what’s wrong with me as I sit holding my best friend ever. Butkus like Bobby Humphrey had helped me get through the loss of a 40 year career pumping concrete. A on job injury put me flat on my back for several years . TBIs are no joke. After my second TBI my pup was trained to alert me for a sezour before I fall on my head again.Butkus was 6 when he started training as a service pup and now at 16 is my best buddy till our end. Watching g this man Humphrey rescue all those chis shows me I’m not the only only one that cares for these little dynamos. God Bless.

Actually, it is heart-warming to see a man loving and caring for small animals that no one else wants..., but a "saint" is someone who has been saved by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. And only God can bless someone. God sees how we treat other people in this life, not animals. When someone loves animals more than people, and calls themselves a Christian, they need to really pray for forgiveness and help in their walk with the Lord. I have dogs myself, and they are part of the family, no doubt, and enrich my life a great deal. But the real feat or accomplishment in these last days, is to love thy neighbor as thyself. That's what we should all be striving for.
I owned pitbulls my whole life. After they all passed I went Dogless for years. I eventually got 2 chihuahuas, twin brother and sister, and my life is forever changed because of them. The 2 sweetest dogs I've ever seen. Everyone that meets them falls in love. I understand wanting to rescue all of them.
I have two twin boy and girl chihuahuas as well! Never thought I’d have this breed. They were fosters but I could not part with them. ❤️🐕🐕 they make life so much better

Same, was always a pitty mom. Right now Piggy is 8 1/2 yrs old APBT, then got Blondie - a heinz 57 rescue a few years ago about 4 yrs now. Then we added Chi-Pom Tottie this last fall as a pup she’s about 9 months old now. I think I’m a little dog person now! I love my pack right now though, I wish I could keep them all exactly how they are together today. But reality exists and as time goes on it will be littles from now on.

I love this quote because small dogs are the most babied breeds ever, and it leads to separation anxiety, little dog syndrome, hyper sensitivity, poor socialization, aggression, and so many other things that people hate about "small dogs"... if we treat our animals with the same respect this man does they grow up being dogs and exploring the world. Not forced to stay inside, and never get to walk anywhere cause they are constantly carried, handled only by one person and never to meet other dogs.... just by looking at all those lil pups i can tell they have a lot more stable mindset then those of over babied dogs❤❤❤❤❤ great video!!!

lilkittyanime People act like they aren’t DOGS that need to be trained. Case in point, the calmest Yorkie I’ve ever seen was walked on a leash like any other dog, instead of being carried. I HAVE to think navigating the world on all fours is a confidence builder for a small dog.

Chihuahuas are great companions. They're easy to maintain, no grooming needed because long haired chis coat don't get tangled much. Because they're small, they don't eat much unlike the bigger breeds.

My kind of guy, a dog lover and does something about it by rescuing and loving them.
I adopted a Long Haired Chihuahua who has been beaten and locked up for 4 years.
The rescue centre told me he's a biter, but I still adopted him and the first thing he did was bite me and puncture a vein.
Two years on and he's a proper mummy's boy and loves his kissies and cuddles ❤❤❤

Thank you for loving, saving these beautiful dogs. My chihuahua will be fourteen next month. I’ve had her since she was seven weeks old. To say she is special is the biggest understatement. I’ve always had pets,dogs, cats, fish birds etc. Never have I had a more intelligent, loving, loyal pet/friend. She loves everyone and everything about her little life ❤

It is because they were severely overbred during the years of Paris Hilton's fame, and many people who bought small dogs as accessories didn't actually want to raise a dog so the number of chihuahua strays started skyrocketing.

You are so right, Lauren. Our little Chihuahua had been mistreated. She was 8 when we adopted her. After two years, she now trusts us and her personality is coming out in spades. This man is a delight to watch. May there be many more we haven't heard about yet.
WHEN HE SAID I CAN NEVER GIVE THEM SO MUCH AS THEY HAD GIVEN ME IT HIT ME HARD, a dog's love is different than one from a human. They have no reserves and their love is forever, i have a chihuahua mix and i love her with all my heart, and many people had say im a cold person but really all dogs deserve love and family , it does not matter if they are big or small, quiet or loud they all deserve to have someone to love them and to care for them

Sir i never had chihuahuas before but have two of them now and they are funny .One is hyper the other is calm. The hyper one barks and the calm one is so quiet. And like you they helped me get over being lonely after my husband left after 41 years . Plus i have yorkies .

I love that guy. He's all over the FB dog groups I'm in. I did not know that chihuahuas were the second most euthanized breed in the USA.
That's probably because everybody wants one, but also realize they are bad tempered.
@@ignazs.5816 They aren't bad tempered, they just require work like every dog, and a lot of people think just because a dog is small and cute, then they'll be easy to handle. They don't realize that having any animal requires time and commitment.
