19:00 Okay... I've been listening to this guy for years. I've listened to some of his lectures multiple times. And his lectures were often so utterly dense with thought, I often find myself picking up on something I didn't happen to notice or think about last time...
This particular lecture? I've heard this one in full at least half a dozen times, and I've heard the clip where he describes the elves, at least maybe a dozen times more than that...
And I've somehow never caught this line...
"... and they say 'Hooray! Welcome! You're here!' ... and in MY case, 'You send so many, you come so rarely!'"

I can only imagine how many people Terence is responsible for sending to meet the machine elves... but it has to be A LOT.
I should know, because I'm on that list... 😂
Tho it's kinda interesting to think about... these days there are probably TONS of people out there who first learned about smoking DMT from Joe Rogan, or Rick Strassman, or maybe even some random documentary or UA-cam vid...
But as recently as even, say, 2005 (give or take) this wouldn't have been true at all. IIRC Dr Strassman was only starting to become popular around that time. Rogan was still just some comedian who made people eat bugs on TV...
DMT was still a *relatively* obscure drug that only the more knowledgeable psychonauts were aware of... and a HUGE % of the people who knew about DMT, and especially those who had been compelled to actually seek it out and try it, did so very largely because of this man's brilliant description.
... sending psychonauts and hippie intellectuals on trips into hyperspace like it was his job.

“As I stepped beyond the threshold, I entered another world-like Dorothy walking into Oz. A slight breeze swirled the leaves and branches and blossoms of the garden, brushing the skin on my arms. Soft air and clear light caressed my face. Just then, the music stopped. It took me a moment to realize that the music in my head was actually in my iPod and the iPod must have run out of power. I took out the ear buds and a far more fantastic music flooded in, leaves rustling, birds chirping, insects buzzing, the distant shoosh of tires on the road invisible behind the trees. I sat at the wrought-iron table and put my feet up. The crystalline light astonished me. The air, neither hot nor cold, was invigoratingly dry. I felt energy radiating from my body into the air, mingling with the radiations emanating from all the life surrounding me. I scanned the back yard. The ornamental grasses had begun to shoot out golden tufts; the crepe myrtle, hydrangea, stone crop, petunias and geraniums all had covered themselves in blossoms. Figs grew large and heavy on the fig tree, which exploded tropically in one corner of the yard, and fat red tomatoes swelled on the still leafing vines in another. Tendrils of Virginia creeper and wild grape dripped from the pines across the back fence, persimmons hung from the persimmon tree like Christmas ornaments. I had seen all this the previous morning, and many other mornings before that. But now I had stepped into a page from an illuminated fairy tale. Just as that thought entered my mind, three large yellow butterflies appeared, flitting in spirals around me. I laughed aloud: I was in Oz after all🌄…
…I can’t think of any other way to put this but to say the sky opened, and grace poured down all around me. Light itself had transformed into a palpable substance, spilling down as if from a fountain. But it was more than light. It was blessings of every kind, goodness incarnate, flowing inexhaustible and immutable from above. I didn’t say to myself, “What is this?” I didn’t guess. I knew, I saw, I was in the presence of God. This wasn’t a God with whom I could have a conversation, at least not two-way. I think I said, or shouted, “Ok, I am DEFINITELY not an atheist,” but God was mute, or rather, I understood, or perceived, that the only response God would ever make was the boundless bounty of beauty cascading over me. After the shock and awe, my first thought was that this gift absurdly overmatched anything I could possibly have deserved. I thought, and said aloud, “Why me?” Instantly, that seemed too pleased with myself. I could just look at this phenomenon that confronted me, this Niagara Falls of beauty pouring down, and know that I hadn’t been “chosen.” I was no one special. This was just what God was, a permanent condition that somehow had remained invisible to me until this moment..”

DMT is very subjective, Terrance’s description is NOTHING like my experiences except for the impression of being underground which everyone does seem to experience
Psychedelics as a whole., yeah .
I've had numerous different experiences than what Ive heard him describe. On different substances ( in relation to the ones he's describing, of course) Sometimes nearly contradicting occasionally totally contradicting his description out what's typical or possible even.
I'm not striking this against him though, because I've heard him stressing how varied and individual psychedelic experience can be.
At the same time, I think that's something well worth exploring.
--- Why/how people get so much out of psychedelics no matter how varied the experience may be ??

I've smoked mushrooms before and it's a heavy visual trip for 15mins. Throw a little shroom dust in a bowl of green and fly🎉
One time a friend came over when I was peaking on a bowl. He took it from my hand and cashed it then left without words exchanged.
The next day he said "wtf i drove home seeing rainbows and had to stop halfway to calm down. What was in that?"
I said my bad, there were shrooms in the bowl. Don't smoke without permission 😂😂

Please research this before trying to consume via this method as it has serious health risks such as fungal infection in the throat and lungs, mushrooms are not meant to be smoked.

You being serious? I tried smoking very potent mushrooms a couple times absolutely nothing happened just had a strong mushroom taste in my mouth, absolutely would not recommend anyone does this
yes, but the child in the womb or the pupa, either of these states they are neither good or bad. But in this life there is much evil and it's easier to temp a good man into evil.
Centre? And too absolute? What is absolute centre?
Absolute Center would almost be like another name for saying God, or the center of the universe, or the one place that all other places stem from. The kingdom of Heaven being in your heart center is the connection point to absolute central point, like the sun in our universe to us, but the central sun that all other universes spin around, the source of all things. So things like DMT bring you to the presence of the divine light, the religious experience, the awe of being in the presence of this higher conciousness. The absolute. The “name above all names”
