U.S. military aid is reaching Ukraine as that nation's military strives to blunt Russian attacks in the Kharkiv region, said Sabrina Singh, deputy Pentagon press secretary.
U.S. systems again reached Ukrainian service members after Congress approved a budget supplemental aid package on April 24. At that time, President Joe Biden announced a $1 billion assistance package to meet Ukraine's critical security needs. On Friday, the United States announced another tranche of $400 million in aid.

America does the right thing once they have tried all other options. Mine likely isn't accurate either, but I know it is closer. Churchill was a prolific writer, and his history of WWII used to be required reading by West Point. I inherited my father's copy of the set.

I looked it up, however there is no documented evidence he ever said the quote, however most believe it accurately represents his feelings on the subject. Certainly he could be critical of the USA, however he did appreciate the country that his mother came from.
I do tend to agree with the statement. Roosevelt also said "Suppose my neighbor's home catches fire, and I have a length of garden hose four or five hundred feet away. If he can take my garden hose and connect it up with his hydrant, I may help him to put out his fire...I don't say to him before that operation, Neighbor, my garden hose cost me 15 dollars; you have to pay me 15 dollars for it... Ukraine is still standing as an independent state, the Mighty Russian army has been significantly degraded (especially the amount of vehicles...over 500 in Avdiikva and Vuheledar alone) Russian infrastructure has suffered a fair bit of damage, petroleum production is down 14%. And some may say that sanctions don't work but there is a shortage of medicine in Russia and doctors. In fact the joke is that if you want good healthcare these days, going to Khazakstan or Uzbekistan is a far better choice now.

how does the US move, haul all the heavy weaps and ammo, gear and supplies into distribution centers in Ukraine, and then further ship it to the end user, front lines?
Most if it is already stored at bases in EU. It's really just a matter of putting it on a train in Poland. Then Ukraine takes possession and decides where it's needed.

The U.S. Has a massive logistical transport network they can move massive amounts of equipment they're probably going through Poland I just hope once the equipment has crossed Ukraine's borders Russia can't target it they will get some of it it's war but hopefully a lot makes it to the Ukrainian soldiers on the front lines quickly

Ukraine has proven they are very resilient and now will regain their strength I imagine the worry will be is their manpower hope it will grow from it's resilience as well and I have no doubt it will just hoping and praying it will be enough. In a short time there will be things coming into play for Ukraine like jets and long range missiles which they are now in enough to produce on their own . They just need time but unfortunately Russia knows this, that is why they are on the big push and hopefully their disregard for their own manpower will turn into their down fall. Russia's disregard for any humane life is what gives them the advantage . Like other wars Russia has struggle in they resort to bombing everything to a level plain . Ukraine started off in this war with the sense of it and thought through it very well but they have to take the hits to get Russia manpower into kill zones to cause mass casualties some think Retreating is a sign of losings it is not it is playing smart because the man power Russia used is now there and this becomes a kill zone and eventually Russia will have to do another big mobilization and if Ukraine can take back a bit of what Russia gained it permit them to start the cycle over again . Ukraine will find a solution to over come Russia's disregard for human life and once what was their advantage it will become a disadvantage. Western Jets if used wisely could give Ukraine the point where Russia will not be able to counter. It is all about who can really control the skies if Ukraine can take full control of the skies Russia will lose what little advantage they have and would be dealt what they been they doing to Ukraine . Not sure what the consequences would of been but if the west would of done what Ukraine ask for right from the beginning is to close the skies Russia would of already be on the back foot and maybe even pushed back off Ukraine soil. The Western allies knows this all to well know but came to the decision Ukraine must do this so to not have their own confrontation with Russia But if they don't step up and make this really happen then I am afraid eventually they will have that confrontation they are so hard trying to avoid . Russia main goal is to control Europe and once they do that they will own it
While I don't support Biden on a lot of things, I do support him on aiding Ukraine. History will remember Biden as the president who stood up against Hitler Putin.

About the F-16s. My idea is this: deliver them to Ukraine and once in Ukraine, have NATO pilots fly them. If they are active duty military, they would need to resign first from their country's air force. The concept is similar to the Flying Tigers all-volunteer group of Americans fighting in China against the Japanese, except this time around it will be from NATO countries.
