That was awesome to see the Arkansas DOT guys were so cool and professional about everything. Nice to see there are good officers out there doing their jobs. Thanks for the Videos, Tim.
2AM and the boss tells them to check this rig out so... I don't know if there's a quota of checking trucks maybe checks for sobriety? What a great video...all regular guys, doing their jobs at 2am.
Wow cool to see this video from a Elvis fan since I was young now in my 50 s and a ex Detroit resident and still a Michigander ! Still listening to Elvis that music can never compare to the music garbage they have this days except the Country music that is still good!
Ironic the DOT pulls you over and 👀 looks for anything they can find wrong with your truck, trailer, load,or paperwork. Meanwhile the office building they are working out of is full of electrical code / NEC violations.

It was sure nice riding along with you. I drove truck OTR for 13 years. Drove for Greyhound for 4 years. Sure enjoyed hearing the sound of a truck. And I agree two of my most favorite trucks were KW and Freightliner. My kW's had Cummings engines but the Freightliners had 60 series Detroit but they all had 13-speed Transmissions. I remember going across Nevada, Utah, New Mexico and even Texas as a low-flying aircraft was running 120 mph. Every now and then you got to stretch your legs. Keep the shiny side up and the dirty side down
A classic truck for a classic load a perfect combo I'm glad you took the old Classic for this load Tim keep up the good work love the videos Also she looks and sounds so mean and menesing at 18:23 rolling that coal like don't mess with me. This video shows why the BIG youtubers use Gentry and sons. Most people would have hooked to the trailer and left. It shows how much you care about trucking and your customers, Making sure the load is secure and safe.
Awesome video Tim! It’s funny I was just watching the video of jimmy staying in the jet overnight. That’s so awesome you got to haul it! Stay safe out there!
That's awesome great to see all the progress I was worried about you guys glad to see you are doing good and getting all of your plumbing figured out and hope to see more videos 😍

Having been through a fire myself, I know first hand what is involved. Amazing how things came together for ya'll. Now if only the videos would return as often as they used to.
I'm an aircraft machinist of many years in Wichita, KS. I bet I made parts for big and small craft you see in this vid. It's sad seeing them parked and ignored.

Back in the day that is how my friend got involved hauling all the jet engines , He started off as a kid hauling all their junk planes , then he got involve hauling their jet engines , He made himself a real good living 🕶 He had the baddest Peterbuilt and trailer running the interstate , You poped the hood and all you done was smile and shake your head , I could not even believe what he done and how much money he put in the truck and trailer
I’ve said that before too but 12 hour day operating equipment changed my mind I can do loud to the grocery store and back but hours on end is irritating
@@Doubie. Truck driver of twenty six years. The days of rolling down the highway and at the end of the day falling asleep to the hum of a Series 60 Detroit were awesome. As not to offend, the Caterpillar C12 was enjoyable too.
Elvis had 3 customized private jets..this one. Lisa marie...and hound dog 2 the other ones are in Graceland on display in tact..well Lisa Marie is I think hound dog 2 is somewhere in Arizona I can't remember but they are on display as memorabilia and people can tour them up close and in person

I missed a new scale off ramp. So I stopped on the shoulder just before the scale line. Walked across the grass. I went into the scale house. He said we’re are you, right there, I didn’t cross the scale but missed the off ramp , in the fog. He let me go.
It's funny Tim doesn't happen to show the car preventing them from entering the scale. Only with the cops on the side of the road. Yeah sure you didn't intend to run the scales..he acting like oh these people at the truckstop recognized the plane. I'm sure Tim was inside the truckstop saying hey Yall you know who's plane that was. Not the other way around.. Yall want to know how Tim gets these loads. He donates the truck and trailer if you'll let me pull it..people aren't beating down his door because he's Tim Gentry..but whatever.
the whole idea of making this into an RV is interesting to me. It will be a challenge to get it to comply with DOT Regs. (I'm talking about the NHTSA's FMVSSs) . You have to have the taillights in the right place, the right amount of visibility, etc. But I think it's do-able.
The guys working at the scales were really cool, things go a long way when you cooperate and be polite with these guys/gals they are just doing their job and trying to keep everyone safe.
Great video Tim! Love watching you and your brother haul together. No need to be answered but curious, did the HP end up getting to check out the plane after the inspection?
This was so cool watching your video. Being a retired truck driver of 47 years. And like you did in your your days I did the same thing. Running what you might say outlaw. Well anyway love your videos...
Tim been watching your channel lately and I've seen your Freightliner Argosy cab-overs, if you want to see the one we modified and what we haul. Google SI feeders. Oh yeah it's set up as a boat hauler, it even says SI Marine in the door. And the trailer stretches out. It was originally a day cab, did not buy one with a sleeper because we could not load over the cab and be legal.
Yes sir I agree with you 100% when it comes to running the older equipment especially when it comes down to maintenance and plus you know what's in performance wise. Driving truck across country was something I always wanted to do. I've drove my share of international Eagles under a farm waver but that's it.
Well good job with the Arkansas dot officers. You get what you give when dealing with the police in every instance. You give respect and you get respect in return.
