This is like the comeback tournament. With Opelka, Paire, and Cressy. Even McDonald and Lestienne just recently back. Never seen this at one tournament before but its so good to see
I mean, they all do that, even the majors these days are so much higher than it was when you watch those vintage tennis videos. And I dislike it because it makes everything look like it’s in slow motion! I mean, why? Put it next to them, shift things around so we see the play from multiple angles, that’s how you can truly capture the speed and intensity with which these guys move around on court!!!
@@Tennisisreallyfun It still looks as if it was faster than the old days, even at that higher angle and even with matches from Federer in the early 2000s. Tennis has become so much faster.
In many ways the Cressy and Opelka matches looked the same… tall bearded dudes taking out much shorter guys with tie breaks in the 3rd set! Keep it going!
Opelka is 6'-11"! He's taller than Jon Isner who is 6'-10". At the end of his match with Listienne when they shake hands Listienne looks like a small child whilst shaking Opelka's hand.
Damn I forgot how big Opelka was. I was watching Mpetshi so much and thought I was used to 2m tall players and then I see Reilly going for the handshake 😦
go and try to win on grass with that height and low power and against such tall player its hard ... and Albot has an ATP title in singles and doubles he is still an accomplished player

Same thing I thought. I was wondering where all of these guys have been.
Glad to see Reilly back on tour
Good to see Reilly back on the court. Hope he can stay healthy.
David vs Goliath.
Newport is the only tournament that makes Opelka look like an ant. I don't know why Newport uses satellite camera to record matches from outer space.

@@Funkytrip73Since when? Because depending on the time period you are thinking of, the consensus is that tennis has actually slowed down quite a bit.
Opelka looks like he just returned to America after being lost at sea for 3 years
Lol he looks like a caveman 99% of the time now
Cressy hit 23 double faults and still won 😂
Like a true American 🇺🇸
Because Albot most dumb player on tour
Proving that playing the percentages works in his case.
😮that’s like me!
Except without the winning part
@@Donatas-ps5ywok Sherlock holmes, what is your atp ranking? 😂

The Wal Mart version of Wimbledon but I always loved this tournament.
Good win by Opelka.
Nice to see Cressy and Opelka back! Even lord Paire is there!
Good to see Cressy. Good enough win.
These courts used to be fast with players displaying serve and volley....they have slowed down the courts considerably
Welcome back Opelka!
The amount of space beteeen the spectators and the left- and right-hand sides of the court seems insane 😂
Why you use hard court as the background in thumbnail when the tournament is played on grass?
Glad to see Opelka back
Long time no see! He’s back finally.
Good to see lord Paire back in action
lol
The looser !!

Happy to see Opelka back, but I've found him kinda clumpsy on his movements. Hope he will be fine.
Easily the worst mover on tour. Not even a contest. Of course with his height + weight, moving will be kind of funny :D
Will never win anything big Haha
Last week of grass court tennis 😢
sadly
best surface
And with clay Olympics this month, they'll truly only get the misfits.
@@AdamLischinskylots of American players in the draw. Sad it’s the last year of Rhode Island. Hopefully they have at least a Challenger next year.
Grass is slower than the Australian open now. It has become boring with how slow they've made it over the past decade.
The Newport court gives out retro vibes with the huge grass area and old stands.
always love to watch the "Why tha hell am I doing here" posture of Paire...
great to see opelka back. nice match!!!!
I don’t know if anybody noticed this but kovavevic and mayot was wearing the same jersey
i hadn’t seen opelka play in so long i just thought he retired
So glad to see Opelka back. Was just wondering two days ago what happened to him.
Opelka vs Lestienne felt like a battle of penguins.
Seagull's screams and Benoit's dropshots - it's all you have to know about real tennis
How high do u want ur socks?
Lestienne: oUi Oui
The servebot has returned!
Great match from Maxime 👍
Weird tournament after grass season, and most preparing for US open hard court or Olympics clay court. Happy to see more grass matches anyways.
Damn I forgot how big Opelka was. I was watching Mpetshi so much and thought I was used to 2m tall players and then I see Reilly going for the handshake 😦
Heading there tomorrow!
Tell the seagulls to shut the f*** up! We can barely hear the players hit the ball 😝
Opelka looks like he went into hibernation
2 courts, maybe 3, can fit in the whole grass area
Opelka looks like Forrest Gump lol
the tumbnile looks like hardcourt tournament 😢
10:31 no way 💀
why did cressy dissapear?
Even Maxime Cressy has a better backhand than Steve Johnson! 😂😂😂😂😂
Kovacevic 7-6 6-4 Mayot
Cressy 6-4 4-6 7-6 Albiot
Opelka 6-1 2-6 7-6 Lestienne
Paire came back to give us what we rightfully deserve 😅
Opelka cashed that bet man he made me sweat
オペルカ!よく戻ってきた
why they playing on grass right after wimbledon
Cressy, Listerine, and Paire. Each is unique, so their match is interesting.😮
This is Wimbledon the 2nd part, keeping on grass, until next month.
Boonwoh Pear
О Кинг Конг играет давно его не видел...чего-то на шлемах перестал играть!
👍✔️🎾✌️✅✅
Grass tournament after SW19😂😂😂
La honte pour Lestienne, perdre contre un gars qui a rien gagné depuis 2 ans franchement...
Opelka has giantism? His facial features indicate that.
hehe the big guy cant run very well hey
Benoît Paire the looser !!
Opelka still yonung what, born in 1997, why they said returns to action? If Federer I still understand but Opelka at the age of 27 this year
Opelka has been injured for forever at least 2 years so yeah it’s a return to action
Opelka and Paire? Ugh. Please let them go and stay gone.
When that choker Albot loses, tennis wins.

Boring tournament 😴
Paire needs to just change that awful forehand or quit
