I am a proud owner of this truly wonderful instrument ( it was actually my 50th birthday present )... so, for sure, I have had my hands on it, and rest-assured it is an amazing and splendid piano. My pride and joy, for sure ❤👍🎹
Nice demo of the piano's features. I have owned the GP300 for 3 years and just love it. However, I can only get the sense of playing a real acoustic grand piano when in the Berlin Grand. For me, the Hamburg and Vienna sound as if I'm listening under water. Thus, It also gives me more of the sense that I'm playing a digital piano rather than an acoustic one. I'm wondering if anyone else has a similar experience. If so, please comment. That said, I'm completely content with having one fantastic natural sounding and performing piano, being the Berlin Grand, at my fingertips without having to have spent a fortune. I'd also like to recommend the JVC Flats headphones for reproducing the piano's natural acoustic sound. I tried at least a half a dozen headphones, including very expensive ones. But in my quest, the $20 JVC Flats are hands-down the best if you're looking to reproduce the natural sound of the piano. I have to double-check sometimes that the piano is not being played through the piano's speakers when my headphones are on. There's a technical explanation for this having to do with the difference of an electronic musical instrument vs listening to stereophonic recorded music.
@@casiomusicgear What do you mean by "lighter velocity settings"? Are you referring to hammer response? If so, what number range would you suggest by making it "lighter"? If not, can you explain. Thank you for replying to my original post!
Tried out one of these in a retailers showroom yesterday having seen many of theses videos on UA-cam. The real thing does actually demonstrate a marked difference between the three primary pianos which is not so obvious when heard on a medium such as UA-cam.
Will Casio make a portable stage piano, maybe replacing the PX560 with the same piano action as this Celviano Grand Hybrid and possibly adding these same Piano sounds?
Good video. Its nice that you have talked and demonstrated Very slowly every functionality. The only problem is you voice os very low. I am waiting for my gp400 to arrive. Thank you.
does the faster speed repetition (of the Casio GP510) than acoustic grand pianos make it more difficult to play advanced classical music on acoustic grand pianos??
String Resonance is the sympathetic response of notes that are being played. Open string resonance refers to the highest notes of the piano that are not dampened and always sympathetically vibrating.

Loved the review!! I'm looking forward to get the GP-310!
Maybe a new Weblive with 510 Model?!
I wish there was a polished mahogany or polished Walnut finish available

You may wish to try one of the lighter velocity settings, the Berlin grand by its nature is brighter sounding than the other two.

Robert Bailey see page 22 of the manual for touch response settings.

What's the difference between string resonance and open string resonance

But is the piano the one on the left or the one on the right? I've heard only words!
Is it possible to record Concert Play?
Pretty sure it is.
