    Proof that a cheap guitar in the hands of a skilled guitarist can sound like a 4 times more expensive guitar.

      The guitar is still around £400 and the amp hes using is around £800. Its not as cheap of a setup as everyone is making it out to be just because they can see the squier logo.

    this is amazing!! Great cover bro. I love when ppl play it exactly like it was written.

  • @RandyJamminMusic
    @RandyJamminMusic 3 роки тому +3

    Not only is this a great cover but I think his gear is a great lesson for people wondering what kind of gear they should get.
    He just crushed every aspect of that song, the tone, the feel with a squire. I'm assuming he has a decent tube amp he's playing through.
    An amazing expensive guitar will sound like crap through a bad amp. But a cheaper guitar through a great amp, will sound great. I know there are very nice squires but I still think the point I'm trying to make stands.
    10/10 the best guitar cover I've seen. I also never thought to use my second finger on the G string when playing the first E root note progression on the main riff. I would always just jump my first finger back and forth between the E and G strings.

      Thanks a lot man! To get this sound I recommend using the drive channel on your amp with very low gain, where it's just breaking up. Use the bridge pickup on your single coil guitar and use a compressor to make it sound more percussive. A little bit of spring reverb helps it sound bigger. Hope this helps!

    Without any doubt best cover of Can't stop on yt. It's not even cover, its original haha. That CV squier tone is killer, definitely my next guitar.

    People who say that this can’t be played on a Squier, only a bad craftsman blames his tools.
    Superb cover.
