I remember what lead me to the red pill. I'd worked in a strip club for years and learned female nature but believed it was just stripper nature back then. A 29 year old woman was working there (I was 27), she was in-between jobs and had previously had management roles at sales companies. I put a lot of time and effort into her because I believed she would have a different nature to strippers and felt it was time to find a serious girl. Looking back now I am red pilled, she was an alpha widow to a z lister, had loads of rubbish tattoos, a few terrible piercings, a large social media following she was obsessed with increasing (bought fake followers) and once I got to know her clearly had a high body count and told me she'd vandalised her ex's cars and even told me she had had an abortion once whilst drunk. After being attached to her because of the time I had invested I ended up making a fool of myself and having my head done in by the whole situation. I know sometimes you feel you need to get a move on, I felt like this at 27 (30 now and I don't) but if the right options aren't available you should concentrate on self improvement because there's no bigger waste of time than investing into a trashy woman.

Im a woman, I understand women esp. well because I am a clinical psychologist and have treated MANY women...the insides of their heads, their beliefs about men, their desires, expectations and TOO many are highly neurotic and also highly disagreeable.Women are higher in neuroticism than men(for example narcissists...women are narcissists too just in lower numbers and tend to be covert ones rather than grandiose ones like men. I am also a mother of an adult male and YES there are women at all places on the behavioral spectrum...so dont make the mistake that ALL women are the same because they arent, any more than ALL men are the same. Look for a good one be CLEAR in your head the factors YOU want. This is what I myself did early in life.
My list looked like this but Im a different kind of woman and didnt need or want a man to be my sole support in life financially or make all my decisions for me.
The MOST important factors to ME:
1. A highly compatible personality on the Five Factor Model of Personality-open, conscientious, introvert...my head is in books and research alot am satisifed with JUST my mates companionship MOST of the time,moderately agreeable, low in neuroticism.
2. Great in bed, highly experienced with women over 100 partners before we met he had been a swinger. I KNEW I wanted an excellent sexual partner. I had already experienced average and terrible in two long term monogamous relationships, so I knew why it was important. I had no idea a former swinger would have such terrific skill but now I see that makes sense. I was startled when he told me, but curious....it did only GOOD things for him, made him the best lover BY FAR I have ever experienced and he has gotten only better over the decades...he is still highly motivated to please me which motivates ME to find new ways to please him. So we are great together...the more you give in bed the more effort the other person makes, if they love you unless they are lazy or take you for granted and are the WRONG person.We are just great together.
I recognise I would not have had all THIS with anyone else and likely would have had only a positive , adequate relationship without the great sex and HIM his unque personality. I had NO idea HOW MUCH difference thIs would make over time, and I am a psychologist, so I DID know sex was important, but NOT that for me, it would turn out to be number ONE because I am otherwise a very cerebral person, a professor, head into research alot.
2. Interests in common sailing number ONE, water sports; books...some reading subjects in common to share IDEAS, curiosity about other cultures drawn to foreign travel,or at least open to it..he had never traveled abroad,,I had, I introduced him to it. Interested in learning new skills and information...mental growth was important to me it's what I live for, besides him.
3. Now come the traditional choice factors. Alot of these were negotiable to a degree if he had the more important to me OTHER characteristics ABOVE. Good looks at least 5ft 8in to 6ft 3in ft. Even though I am 5ft4in...I KNOW, not fair or right but I like the FEEL of hugging a man taller than me it makes me feel physically protected, it makes me feel more feminine, more delicate in a good way. I WANT TO BE THE GIRL...I dont want some pretty boy 5'4" male my size and weight super skinny smaller BONES than me I certainly dont WANT to feel like an amazon! I would feel masculinized and I WANT to be feminine and girly. I'm not the arm wrestling femininst type.
I like dark hair period..I am blonde, my father was blonde, I dont want to feel I am with my father,,a brother, a male relative...too close genetically. Eye color doesnt matter.I like slim slightly

A grad degree was fine but not at all required. My mate has a bachelors degree in psych and zoology...I had my own money didnt need his.
So these factors didnt impress me about men I uad had a working class mate and then a very high powered medical professional asst dean of a medical school 17 yrs my senior...he was the one who was lousy in bed. He was a grandiose narcissist was important and highly paid and somehow thought THIS made him superior to other men....hah SO not true. In fact he was INFERIOR to other men, including my first mate. i think MEN put too much store in hypergamy...it is mostly,male psychologists eg David Buss PhD, Miller, etc who talk about it,write about it, research it and seem obsessed with it,JUST like penis size. Men are obsessed by it, women are not. Most women are happy with average size penises and KNOW that bigger is not better. In fact,many women like me dont have room for the top end of the range and dont WANT that and will avoid sex with a too large male eg 7in or higher. I hypothesize from the many female clients I.have had that all but the youngest women who are having to use their young age and looks ALONE to attract a long term mate, are looking for money and status alone or as their major choice factor.

I remember having similar thoughts at his age. It was very hard to kill the inner beta in me. I felt panicked. Only through watching man after man after man take major L’s with women, did I realize that the risk is far higher then the potential reward of having a lifetime partner with children. I don’t know anyone who has a relationship or family that I actually admire! Literally not one….
They do exist, but they are very far and few between. Not enough vetting and most people rush into things before really getting to know their partner, then when they have kids and 3 years later they realize they're not the perfect match, it turns into an unhappy relationship. Men don't have a biological clock like women but they do have a retirement clock. It takes 23 years to raise a child from conception to college graduation. 65 (retirement age) minus 23 equals 42. You don't really want to be having children after 42.

While I do make more than that, 120K in Euros isn't something to dismiss, it is just a bit less than double the median household income in the US ... not median individual income, household income. I'm sure in Belarus, that is a significant income. To put it in perspective, I work at a reasonably large, definitely well known company with 18K employees ... there may be 15-20 people in my company who make the kind of numbers he's throwing out, and that is being generous. Definitely need a lucrative side hustle.

thats the big risk, rushing into things without getting a good feel for what they are like during the tough times, non exciting daily routine times. I've seen a few of my friends where the wife/gf changed soon after marriage, baby, house purchase, but then they were locked in. 23 yrs is a decent length of time though and hard to put on a front for many yrs, people do change unless the faults came out soon after and you were committed at that stage.

Agree with your point. Rich is proud of his accomplishment (rightly so), but it is NOT easy for most guys. He might be able to shoot for $140K, then $180K in the next 10 years. That does not give him huge advantages.
I feel like many are missing the general message Rich was trying to point out with being a higher earner. He wasn't saying that making 120k a year makes you a loser, he's saying that the higher you're able to raise your overall social market value (income, looks, health, status, etc) the more spoiled for choice you will be and the less you will have to worry about what age you choose to settle down because it matters less the more successful you are.
However, you can vet a woman for red flags all you want but at the end of the day no one can ever REALLY know if their marriage will work out as planned so... His problem honestly comes down to values. Does he value a family more than a woman’s looks? It’s sad that men expect women not to age. Aging is something that cannot be escaped for both sexes and to be honest with age comes ugliness no matter what they scale on attractiveness. People should "settle", but in a specific way. That is why people are unhappy now. Having someone who loves you, will not cheat, and give you a family so you are not alone is worth "settling"..if they love and respect you. If settling means looks, then yep, you should consider settling if you are not good looking enough to get a beautiful woman. You will be happier with someone not as "hot" but actually cares for YOU. Women are the same now, way too many "want it all" and want six pack abs, money and great looks. If you are not a "10" you should settle too. Find a guy who loves you and marry them and you will be much happier.
The problem with settling down with an 8 (or higher) is that... there will always be an unending stream of pickup-artists trying to finagle her into bed. And seriously... who wants to be dealing with that all the time? And from her perspective... there will always be easy alternatives to working out relationship difficulties with you (which are pretty much inevitable over time). Men…do not get married. The risk is far greater than the reward. I divorced last year after 18 years of marriage. The wife let herself go, complained constantly about her job, financially irresponsible, and became annoying af. Fortunately I managed to get out of the marriage intact financially, physically and emotionally. We had two children together and one of them lives with me full time and the other I see at least 50% of the time. The divorce ended well for me but my situation is the exception…not the rule. I’ve watched many male friends and family members get raked over the coals in divorce court.

After eight years together she was 30 and I was 60, she found a younger guy with more money and off she went.She was beautiful and I liked her and I feel lucky for the eight years she gave me, but at the end nothing I should had expected. Oh well, the rest is history. The moral of my story guys, don’t give up, depend only on yourself..

The mother took the kids out of state hundreds of miles away with her new boyfriend.(Tony Sayess Esq.) NH. I file a lawsuit against the government for $500 million, because of the kidnapping of kids, and complicit is the gov. Still court Proceedings going on. Meanwhile they revoke my drivers license garnishing my Social Security revoking my passport and put me in jail for 3 1/2 months. Making my life very hard anyway possibly they can…

I remember when I was 37, I felt I wanted to have kids. It was weird because I had never felt that strongly in my adulthood about wanting kids. I met my wife-to-be at 39 and became a dad at 42. I'm 52 years old with an 8 year old boy and a 10 year old girl. My son is more active than my daughter......wow, does he like to run around! We play soccer, football, golf. Being in shape is important if you're going to be an older dad and have kids. I do bootcamp workouts, lift weights 4 times per week. Even so, at times......I still have trouble keeping up, especially with my son. It snowed here recently and the kids wanted to go sledding. Sledding at 52, I was worried I might break my leg. Lol! During the summer, we'll go to a local amusement park.....I used to love roller coasters- not anymore! My kids like them and want me to join them. Ugh, I can't take the big rides anymore.....Haha!

100k in eastern Europe is a lot of money! Even in Eastern Europe it's more than what many medics make. The US has very inflated prices; most people in western Europe live with ~20k/year and in Eastern Europe even less. Prices are lower, different economies, different cultures. It's all relative. If you're at the top of your country the exact amount doesn't matter, don't kill yourself for a number. Contribute.

Anyone else here can work better if they work all day long instead of 8 hour days? If I work 8 hours it becomes a workday and I want it to be over, but if I work all day it becomes the default state. The only break I like to have is for working out (or to meet friends occasionally).
In 3pm to 5pm I normally get a bit tired and my focus goes down. However, instead of working at that time I go hit the gym and then come back to work. I actually enjoy doing it this way and it feels great.
It's sad today and statistically impossible for an average woman to only date an above average man. That can't self sustain
Hi, I have a question to. I am a young women from india. (I am 23). Lot of men here saying that women should embrace the traditional role of being a mother and a homemaker. Raising kids should be the primary concern.
And many women traditionally do that here in india.
But, once the children are old enough to take care of themselves and go chase their purpose in life, these women are left feeling empty and unsatisfied with their lives.
The primary aim of their life was children, and once its done, they say hello to the existential crises.

The primary aim of humans is doing the will of God. Rearing children to become respectable and mature men and women is _one_ of the ways God gave women to honor Him and their husbands. If you make them your life's purpose you'll be disappointed because you are investing your heart on a relationship that is inevitably going to change within a couple of decades.
When you give each thing its due position, then you don't end up feeling empty and unsatisfied in the end because, whether your children are around or not, you are operating under the understanding they are but one phase of your human development in this Earth. *_Not_* its absolute purpose.
