  • Highlights of a pre-declared 300k triangle glider flight from Camphill in the Peak District, UK on 19th July 2020. Winds were 10 knot NorthWest and the glider is a Discus CS (R10). Camphill is the Derbyshire and Lancashire Gliding Club and it is a great place to fly. It looked like a good day and sometimes you just have to have a go....

Good going , it took me an awful lot longer than 5 minutes in the K6.

Impressive stuff doing it in a K6

Nice work: how long did it take you? You also seemed to be relatively low, so well done. Given the flight length, what's your pee system for in-flight relief? A practical, but personal, question.

Hi and thanks, the total flight was just over 4hrs 30 minutes, with the 300k done in 4hr 10mins, not very quick but safe 😁. For in flight relief I use a tube and bag which we buy from the British Gliding Association website, but I prefer to wait until after landing 😖😄
