- On a cool Monday in march, a day was found that would provide plenty of cu flying and reasonable height. So my friend from Germany and I took to the skies in a Ventus b-15m and LS7-WL respectively. Our distance and speed for the flight was good considering we were just having fun flying about. Takeoff from the Gliding Club Of Victoria (Benalla). What a pleasant flight, and a nice way to end the season.
Music from Rufus Du Sol:
-Brighter.
-When the sun needs to rise.
Ouch that quite a bit of over ruddering. I think I'll fix that :)
I love it when you're in a thermal, but my head starts to throb. But I just can't stop watching it.
Much less disorienting IRL😉
Great video for my Christmas Day. Fantastic looking weather. Thanks😃👍👍
Just look at that sky!
Awesome video!
Great video. I'm pleased that there wasn't any crappy music and that the music you chose didn't go on and on and destroy the fact that you were gliding.
I agree let’s only use music to add to the video if anything. Thanks for the comment :)
i dont mean to be offtopic but does anyone know a tool to log back into an instagram account?
I was stupid forgot my login password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me.
@Preston Khalil i really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm trying it out now.
I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Preston Khalil it worked and I actually got access to my account again. Im so happy!
Thank you so much, you saved my ass!
@Anakin Axl You are welcome xD
Just like England, (not)!!
I like that you mix periods of music and periods of just the sounds of gliding! Subbed.
Not a fan of the noisemaker, a variometer and the seat of your pants served me well...
Read terrain for colors and shape and what's birds doing?
Really enjoyed this flight video. Benalla looks like a friendly place to fly.
I remember the late Mr. Hugh Downs on ABC-TV's 20/20 news show; he was excellent in glider flying. In Anaheim, the Phoenix Club used to have glider flying training in the desert in Southern California; the Mojave Desert?
Wow! Thanks for making and sharing this video. Looking this felt like you tell a little cool story of a beautiful day with your friend. You perfectly spot the point where you have to use the right music. Twice i got goosebumps. At the end this cool landing against the sunset with yout friend. Amazing!
Very cool! :-)
best regards from germany :-)
Cheers!! From Canada.
thx for posting your video. 9 out of 10. one day ill get a ride in one.
Nice trip. Note: Try getting a polarizer for your lens, to cut down cockpit reflections.
I liked your pattern. Nice and tight. No messing around. I like it!
I need to visit Benalla next year... great video, thanks for sharing.
Awesome weather and beautiful video
CykoruKun Thank-you for the kind words. Glad you enjoyed!

Amazing Video!
Спасибо за полёт! С музыкой особенно здорово получилось.
Я использовал перевод. Спасибо
hello, I'm wondering why were you really under the plane during the tow ? Thanks :)
We stay behind the tow plane on tow. We can’t get in-front because we don’t have an engine to pull us past them :)
@@StayHighStayFast I knew that but why are you that low compared to the tow plane ? In Belgium when I learned to fly they told me that the wings of the tow plane had to be on the horizon... Great video btw :)
@@mathiscolson2444 Ah yes I see. In Australia we do this "low tow" position. (Below the prop wash). This is our normal procedure. We can do high tow if we want. Depends on the glider.
@@StayHighStayFast thanks for the answer ! I didn't know that was possible. Have a great day
@@StayHighStayFast Towing that low, isn't there a danger that you are pulling the tow aircraft down at the tail, making it point nose up, unless the tow pilot trims down excessively?
The flies. I hate'em.
Not as bad as they used to be :)
Does the same to glider wings! Black with bugs by the end of the day haha.
Oh hey, I live here ;)
One of the lucky ones ;)
