- This is a comprehensive review of the DeWalt 12-Compartment Small Parts Organizer Flip Bin #DWST14121. I was shopping at The Home Depot last week and decided to purchase this to help organize my shop. So far, it has all the features I'm looking for. What do you think about it?

Just bought this today and I know I want another one just like it already. Best storage I've found
I have 3 of them now. They're still the best ones I've used.🙌
i dont think that dewalt is the first to come out with this concept, but the execution is perfect. good job
Yeah, I agree. I've seen others like this over the years. As I'm shopping in 2020, this is one of the best available in the stores today.
I had not seen this before in the Depot but I will be checking for it now.
It's a nice upgrade from the traditional small parts organizers.
Riral king has them.
I use a parachute bag. Works for me as fits in the bottom of my 5 gallon pail.
I've seen those awhile back. They look pretty cool. I like the idea of transporting them in the 5 gallon pail.
👍
Can I put some packout foot adapters and connect it to the packout, can the bin still be closed?

I use all kinds of organizers from Dewalt and Milwaukee. Consider investing in a Label Maker. Put a label on each bin. Each of my organizers is individually labeled based on what I’m storing in the organizer. Trust me, it helps a lot! That way, you always know where everything is and keeping track of inventory is streamlined.
Great tip! I'm excited to see what Milwaukee has coming up in their next Pipeline event September 10th. I believe they have a new addition to their Packout system.
markthomasbuilder drawers my brotha! Me too I’ve been impressed so far with what they’ve released. Price.....that’s a different story !
Treeboss Mike yes, looking forward to the drawers!
i wonder if this organizer can be mounted inside a work van...like on the inside of the back or side doors 🤔
It would probably work on the side doors. There might be too much bouncing for it on the back doors.
I just installed some in mine! I used rivnuts and bolts with a head barely small enough to fit the organizer hanging slot. They hang really securely, like I usually need a mallet to knock the organizer off of the bolt head.
1:01 Anyone know where you can get the nesting tubs for this type of Dewalt organizer, specifially 4.5 wide x 6.5 long by 3.5 deep? My 10 compartment organizer has only 2 of the bigger tubs, but I'd like 3 of the double wides, and even a triple wide tub in there.
That would be interesting. I hope someone replies with a place to get them.
@@MarkThomasBuilder Having looked around a bit, a few people are selling the single-wide tubs on Ebay, and there are some designs on Thingaverse for anyone with a 3-D printer. At some point, I may design and print a double wide and a triple-wide. If I do, I'll post the design on thingaverse...for fame and fortune, LOL
I wonder if those boxes work with TSTAK platform.
That's a good question. I don't have that system to try out.
They do not, unfortunately.
DeWalt site states that these work with their Pro line organizers. That's the second time I've been foiled by that line thinking it was T Stak. AFAIK, they're still producing a Pro, T Stak, and a Tough System set of organizers. Beware!
Do they lock together back to back?
No, they're pretty much made to hang on the wall.
Yes, they actually do lock back-to back. I have two sets this way
Now up to $45.00.
Oh wow, I planned to add a few more to my collection. Time to save up.
Not worth the $45 in my opinion but Lets Go Brandon!
They sell a 2 pack that brings it down close to $30
Bad design Dewalt! Don’t put drywall screws specifically 3” you will never get it to open unless you shake the hell out of it. Works good for washers and electrical wire nuts nothing pointed.
Brings up a good point. They need to follow up their Small Parts Organizer with a nail & screw organizer with 9 bins instead of 12.
