Just a few recommendations.. when you are making hummus remove the skins, that would help with the texture. Also add cubes of ice as you blend as the machine tends to get hot. When it comes to falafel, don't boil the garbanzo beans (just soak them for 24 hours), you can use baking power (Not flour - it is not necessary). This will keep them from desintegrating, also medium heat for that oil is key :)
Wait so your telling me someone would sit there and peel the skin off of each chickapee ??? Omg that be so time consuming idk how I could sit there and peel off each skin bean after bean
I need to get my shit together. I’m 27 and feel like it’s too late to be who I want, but then I see how much progress Trish has made in 10 years and it’s honestly inspiring.
See if you can go to college and study something. 27 is still young and you can still turn your life over. I'm 26 and somehow society makes us feel like we are "old", but thats bullshit, the sky is the limit baby, dream big and work hard ❤️💪
Julia Childs was over 50 before she published her first cookbook, and mid fifties before she hit big fame on her cooking shows. The guy who founded McDonalds was 52 and 55 when he applied and got a patent on the name “McDonalds”. You are never too old, until your dead. So, do not ever let your age stop you from going for what you want in life.
Trisha, if you ever wanna hire me to stand in the shadows and whisper things like “turn the lemon around” and “give it a taste while you are cooking” I’ll be there in a heartbeat. ♥️😘🤗😂✌️
You could use your fancy new gadget to make baby food too once baby is 6 months or so!! I loved making my kids baby food when they were little & trying new combinations of flavors!!
I remember watching when you first made Moses boxed Mac and cheese. Seeing you cook his favorite meal is the best. Im feel So proud Trish. Such a long way to now you happiness, your marriage your baby, to even your cooking. Love you so much wishing nothing but the best. The greatest vibes and blessing your way! ♥️🙏🏽
Aaww the way Moses assembled Trisha's pitta for her 🥰 you can actually tell how genuine Moses was in this "taste test" you can tell he genuinely thinks it tastes nice and was so complimentary, and also can tell by the way he's tucking straight in and not just picking at the food or taking little bites, compared to his reaction in some other cooking videos 🤣❤️ well done Trish!
I give you big credit for trying new things and cooking. You’ve come so far!! Just 3 things and cooking/ baking is actually very easy. 1. Purchase/use measuring cups and spoons 2. Follow recipe 3. Use exact ingredients. You won’t fail if you follow the recipe and use proper measuring tools.
It’s so sweet to see the evolution of this relationship and how happy and in love you guys are!! Trish is so excited to make this for him and he’s so excited that she did!!!! This is just incredibly sweet 😭😍😍
The only thing that worries me is a shallow pan full of oil over a flame, you should get Deep fryer. It’s a fire just waiting to happen if it splashes out and catches on fire, good luck be safe
Trisha! Go ahead and invest in a tabletop fryolator. You fry enough to make it worth it. It's so much easier than using pots and pans. So happy you got a food processor. I'm so proud. Homemade pita bread! It's not that hard to do! Try it!
Like a fry daddy or I have the fry jr it’s worth it if u deep fry things plus u can reuse the oil one extra time it stores it and the oil gets to that perfect heat u need to deep fry
I'm just catching up..Trish I am impressed! you are sooo awesome to cook even more & more and to cook something your husband loves is so special. ty for this . I've had hummus before and don't like some bc its bland. but I can't wait to try this. plus the falafel I've been wanting to try forever! when I had my last child (our only boy) at 38 almost 39. I craved chick peas lol I had them all the time on a salad every single day I'd go to our cafeteria at work and make a salad. I'm 46 now & haven't had them since I had Jack lol. I'm so excited for you to have your daughter 💗 you are going to be a wonderful Mother. I am so glad you're blessed. My 2 daughters are Literally 1 year & 2 days apart. they're now married& I have a 4yr old Grandson. Enjoy each day. they grow up fast oh & chick peas & garbanzo are the same thing.
Trish you would think it would be common sense, but my husband still has a bad scar from his mom cooking with the handle facing out and he grabbed and pulled it off the stove at 3 or 4 years old onto himself. Just embed that in your brain for safety sake down the road.☝
You can tell Moses really likes it because he’s not just complimenting the texture like he usually does lol I’m pretty impressed myself, so happy for you Trisha ☺️
This looks so delicious! I’ve made homemade hummus before, and it’s so good. I love how Moses is sharing his culture with you and us. Also he looks very handsome.

I had no idea what falafel was! I'm going to buy some chickpeas now and try this! I like flat bread too and crumbled cheese. I'm watching this while I'm cooking Halibut Steaks and Rice XD I'm hungry!
OMG! You are doing so well! You can make chicken schwarma, follow recipe, then cut the chicken into bite sized pieces and scewer them like kabobs. N fact you should do diff kabobs, like lamb, beef as well as chicken. Kabobs are easy, go fire up that outdoor grill, grillin with Trish.
Omg can Colleen please teach you how to make bread?!? She made so much during quarantine. I see the two of you making the dough and then mukbang over home made pizza
who's gonna tell them that both Falafel and Hummus were invented by Palestinians and are Arabic and not remotely close to israeli or jewish... best example of culture appropriation

Trish is trying so hard. I give her so much credit. She must really love Moses and she finally seems happy. Cant wait for the next one. Team Trish all the way

My falafels have failed it was definitely the skipping the fridge part n add baking soda instead of more flour also helps, but your cooking is getting so much better so keep exploring n for now use accurate measuring cups n spoons, and always follow recipe to the tea.once u become an experienced cook u can experiment with favors n measuring with your heart( unless u r baking ALWAYS FOLLOW RECIPE EXACTLY WHEN BAKING) love light n blessings
Next time add a teaspoon of bicarb soda when you boil the garbanzo. Makes the hummus a lot softer. Also for extra creaminess try boiling the beans longer, then rinse with water and rub with your hands to remove a lot of the skin. As for blending, you need to blend for a long time (8 -10 minutes), then slowly add ice cubes toward the last 3 minutes. Itll emulsify with the tahini and olive oil and will make a creamy lighter colored dip. Also falafel is best if you blend the garbanzo after soaking rather than doing it with cooked beans.

homemade hummus tastes better than storebought IMO. That food looks delectable!!🤩🤩😍😍

Try an Instant Pot/pressure cooker to reconstitute chickpeas (and other dried beans/peas/lentils). It saves so much time.
its falafel you have to use chickpeas, you can not use anything else cause the flavor is going to be off.
The only thing that worries me is a shallow pan full of oil over a flame, you should get Deep fryer. It’s a fire just waiting to happen if it splashes out and catches on fire, good luck be safe
You need to start to taste your food while you cook it. Then you can adjust and fine tune the flavours to your taste...so taste, taste, taste :)

He’s such a nice Man U deserve the world I hope he genially loves u
Oh last year in 4th grade we tried hummus are u doing the original or sweet one?
Cilantro and coriander are the same thing btw, coriander is a European word for cilantro. Everything turned out looking yummy!
Although they come from the same plant cilantro is the leaf and the stem and coriander is the seed when it's dried
They come from the same plant but taste differently. Pumpkin seeds do not taste like pumpkin for example.
