"𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗟𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗴𝘆𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻" is a song recorded by the American band the Bangles. It was released in 1986 as the third single from the album Different Light. Liam Sternberg said he was inspired to create the song while on a ferry crossing the English Channel. When the vessel hit choppy water, passengers stepped carefully and moved their arms awkwardly while struggling to maintain their balance, and that reminded Sternberg of the depiction of human figures in ancient Egyptian tomb paintings. He wrote the words "Walk like an Egyptian" in a notebook. Later, Sternberg looked back in the notebook, and composing the melody with a guitar, he put together an up-tempo song with lyrics about Egyptian hieroglyphs, the Nile River, crocodiles, desert sand, bazaars and hookah pipes and then segued into modern scenes of blond waitresses, school kids and police officers.
"𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗖𝗮𝗻'𝘁 𝗛𝘂𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲" is a 1966 song originally recorded by the Supremes on the Motown label. It was released on July 25 of 1966 as the second single from their studio album The Supremes A' Go-Go (1966). Written and produced by Motown production team Holland-Dozier-Holland, the song topped the United States Billboard pop singles chart, made the UK top five, and made the top 10 in the Australian Singles Chart. It was released and peaked in late summer and early autumn in 1966. Sixteen years later, it would become a number-one hit in the UK when Phil Collins re-recorded the song. It reached number one on the UK Singles Chart for two weeks beginning in January 1983 and reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 that same month.
"𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿" is a song co-written and recorded by Jamaican dancehall artist Ini Kamoze. It was released as the lead single from his 1995 album of the same name as well as the soundtrack to the film Prêt-à-Porter. It is known for its "naaaa na na na naaaa..." chorus inspired by the Cannibal and the Headhunters version of "Land of 1000 Dances". The song was Kamoze's only song to reach the top 40 on the US Billboard Hot 100, peaking atop the chart on December 17, 1994, and remaining there for two weeks. It also became a number-one hit in Denmark, New Zealand, and Zimbabwe and a top-10 hit in 13 other countries. Irish DJ John Gibbons made a remix of the song in 2018.

I just found The Broken Peach and this is their third video I have watched. Fantastic performances. I love the costumes and show they put on.

I wish I had found this band sooner... They have an amazing energy, and a way of making old favourites almost new, but still familiar. Talent like this needs to be celebrated and SHARED.
Have now watched a bunch of their videos ..... the guys on guitar are "uh, I'm cool...." as they play. The drummer occasionally breaks a smile and looks like he's having fun. But these four women - they're constantly alive and really makin' it happen! Wish I'd won the PowerBall so I could pay to bring Broken Peach to our little corner of the galaxy and share their wonderful presentation and music with everyone from the whole state! And as a new multi-millionaire, I'd be happy to pay all expenses AND give free admission!!!!!!!!!!

Erica Lewis' voice and energy has added so much to the sound of this group.
One thing that never seems to get a mention is the arrangements. These guys take a well known song and make it uniquely a Broken Peach song. HOWEVER, not only that. They also mash songs together, segueying from one to the other so seamlessly you'd think it was written that way! Such TALENT!!

I like this camera format much better that the camera guy(s) jumping around and choosing for me who to look at and when. I MUCH prefer a fixed camera, preferably head to toe so I can look at whom I want at the moment I want to. That is much, much better. Maybe not the current fashion, but still much better. :)
