Garden is beautiful. But is is a syncretistic image of what a westerner thinks a Japanese garden looks like. It does not have that feel.. That stoic, Zen feel. Western garden grabs your eyes and heart. Japanese garden flows into your soul.
Can you tell all this by only looking at a video, and not experiencing it in person? As a garden designer, I can tell you from experience that images (photos and videos) do not tell the truth of what a garden "feels" like...or what is the "soul" of the garden. But perhaps you have been there to this garden in The Hague?
