As a Christian, I find this story very troubling. My church is meeting virtually online. There is no need to put others at risk to practice your faith. Ignoring the warnings, is foolishness, not faith.
Meeting online is a lot differnent than meeting in person. These stupid online services don't feel the same at all.
Also it is very very rare for the virus to kill young people.

@@N828_ In the gospels there is a story where the Devil suggests that Jesus jump off from the pinnacle of the temple, saying God will protect him. Jesus replies that you should not put God to the test.(See Matthew 4:1-11) God give us free will. In this case, we can choose to congregate in a building, but He does not protect us from stupid choices. He does allow us to experience the consequences of our actions. The guiding force should be love, and I think we can all agree that the loving thing to do right now is to self-isolate to protect others and stop the spread of this virus.
God and His Son can protect us from evil as long as our faith didn't waver at a little thing. Without faith in Him, He can't protect us from falling to evil. He doesn't lie about bad things would happen to us, but He encouraged us to not give in despair, hatred, greed, and pride. He can't save us all if we are keeping Him out of our lives. Going to church during the virus is not the best idea. My church is using the video streaming so we can watch at home. Prayers aren't only in the church, it is everywhere - in house, in attic, in garden, etc. Being faithful is still not failed me no matter how many times the bad things throwing at me. When there are bad things, there are good things as well.

Watching the woman saying "im covered in Jesus' blood" reminds me of the story of the woman who refused to evacuated thrice.
(So here goes) Once there was a flood in a village, and due to the rising water all the citizens must be evacuated fast. However, a devout, religious lady refused to go saying that God will save her. She went to the 2nd floor of her house to avoid the raging water. But soon the 2nd floor was also flooded, so a team of rescuers went and try to extract her from her home but she refused and said that her God is stronger than the waters and He will save her. So she remain in the house and went to her rooftop to avoid being washed up. Still, the water was rising and its only a matter of time and the whole house will be engulfed, so the rescuers return and plead that she must come with them. Stubbornly, the woman refused. So the recuers went away to save their own skin, leaving the woman behind fervently praying. She prays and prays hard, she cried to the Lord to save her from this disaster, until the water almost reach her at the top. At this time she was crying already, shouting to the Lord to hear her prayes. Atlast God answered her, "Dear, I heard your prayers and I already tried to save you thrice"... She was shocked and said "No God, you didnt came!". God replied, "Three times i send over rescuers to come and get you, but three times you refused me".....
Sometimes, we fail to see that our salvation is in front of us already, and its our stubborness (or stupidity) that will get us in the end....

Honestly, I think Trevor is winning this. Since the start of the quarantine his show was the greatest entertaining and a lot of interesting interviews with doctors, governors, celebrities... Perhaps, the concept of the show helped, now that people tend to watch news, and that's just the daily show commenting on news sarcastly and have celebrities from time to time, while the other shows are all about celebrities ! a big thanks to Trevor and the whole working team as well. Keep up the good work we love you !

And 10,000 is not "much," but it's also not nothing, especially when "15 cases will turn into 0" was touted by the president. 10,000 is 10,000 more than zero. Also, suicide has many causes, and this pandemic and economic shock will definitely cause more people to go over the edge (it already has), but suicide isn't contagious.

If people wash their hands, stay home and practice social distancing and wear masks and gloves (assuming they can find any), then if the death toll is way below 200k (say 12,000), then that doesn't mean that it was a hoax; it just means that prevention worked.

Have faith but be smart, too. We're expected to still have personal responsibility. God isn't a genie that magically grants wishes.

My dad is a doctor and weeks ago we were running short on masks, especially the medical staff. And those available were the disposable ones. Too bad that T-shirt-like fabric still lets the virus through it, but at least it reduces the chances of you getting the virus. And prevents you from spreading your virus infested spit all over the place

I’m South Korean. It’s nice to be called as a superstar. Although I think our government could’ve done better by monitoring the immigrants more thoroughly. And pay more attention to the healthcare professionals. I don’t go outside other than for commuting and groceries and while I’m outside, I always wear a mask. It has been about a month since I’ve been social distancing myself. I am dying of boredom, but it’s a matter of life and death so I guess we all just have to put up with it.
