I missed him honestly
Yeah. I enjoyed trevor Noah in the beginning but it got a bit too political at the cost of the comedy by the end. Also, a lot of focus on the black community and their struggles ( understandable but as a foreigner that doesnt really click for me ) at the cost of the comedy.
Jon has always had the perfect balance with comedy being the #1 priority.

Congress, why did you give Corporations personhood,be they American or foreign Controlled. And why won’t you let the IRS and the antitrust departments do their job, to me that should be a simple question to answer. We the people deserve an answer, it is our country , we pay you to represent the people not Corporations and Tax exempt religious conglomerates.
It was SCOTUS that said corporations are people, and Republicans are trying to claw back the new funding Biden got for the IRS. He is getting some antitrust action and attacking junk fees, resulting in lots of lawsuits from corporations.

Congress hands them out like clockwork for "strategic" parts of the market (aka *all of them*).
That is why phone and internet is so expensive. Why only american trucks are allowed in the US. Why insulin is not 30 but 500 a month. Why the epipen us not 40 bucks but 600.

Corporations act the way they do because the Corporations Acts dictate how a Corporation needs to act with regard to the company, it's shareholders, and it's officers. If you want to change Corporate America, the first thing that needs to change is the legal definition of what a Corporation is! People should be pushing for more companies going Benefit Corporation or B Corp. Check it out! It allows Corporate America to still sell shares and collect dividends, it just holds them to a ethical standard. It's an ISO in social entrepreneurship.
While I agree with you, you're not going far enough, in my opinion. The whole idea of corporate personhood needs to go. Corporations are NOT people, and don't have the same inalienable rights.
Corporations have shown they can't be trusted to act in ways that benefit people in general. The leaders of corporations have shown they will do anything for profits over people. We need to go back to single purpose corporations with limited lifespans, and we need to be willing to revoke charters when they misbehave.

A corporation is legal entity designed to protect and conceal the owners from any consequences for the actions while maximizing profits. It's strange because we are all into personal accountable, never end student debt, the bogus war on drugs, victimless crimes while giving corporations unaccountable free speech. Our senators need to overturn the Citizens United Decision and get the corporate influence and monies out politics.
