This is a really funny thing but this is my dads old boat Odin. Its so cool to see how much effort you have put into this project and you have given this amazing boat a new life I remember as a young boy going on weekend trips with my family and having an amazing time love to new look looks absolutely amazing mate 👍🏻
Top Notch Job, fit and finish is perfect, and Your design is built for fun, outboards definitely are the best power choice, wish I had one just like Her!!!
Interesting to see. I have a 28’ Bertram, I’m weighing up my options with it......!? It’s currently shaft drive, with twin V8’s. If it was stern drive, I wouldn’t even hesitate to to add outboards on a pod. Twin 300’s on a 25’ would fly! There was one converted here and fitted with twin 200, 2 stroke outboards about 25 years ago. It went hard enough! Great work, thanks for sharing. 😎🏖🌴☀️🇦🇺
Wow! U done amazing job I’d happily part with 130k for it for lol. Is it for sale haha. What an amazing machine. You inspired me to something special myself.
This is exactly what I was planning to do, the thing that killed the project for me was having to rent a shed/workshop for a couple of years and that made it uneconomical. Ended up buying a Boston Whaler 255 Conquest and re powered with Suzuki 200’s with digital controls......
It definitely is made for twin 300s outboards. Boat looks awesome but idc what anyone says a few years of beating will tell the story of why inboard boats didn't have outboards
Yes, the finished boat is something to be proud of but aren't those fuel burn rates somewhat excessive for a boat that size running at that speed? Im not trying to stir things up it just sounds like an offshore fishing trip would cost a fortune. I thought those hulls were known for a great ride and decent fuel economy.
Odin was my Boat before Byron made the trip to Victoria to buy it from me! Absolutely amazing job.
I could have never imagined it would look so good!

That's awesome
I would have to say that is the best looking 25 that I have ever seen, an I have been around. Way to go young man.
Probably nicest 25 in the world
You did the right thing giving those "Black Death " Merc sterndrives the arse .
Fantastic result , well done.
Doesn’t get much better than a Bertram rebuild!
What a weapon
What a beautiful build. You really took it too it's full potential.
“Chips and dip sort of boat” Love it haha

Thats a stellar build out. I need that in my life.
Well done mate that’s a beautiful boat. You got what you wanted and did it yourself you should be proud she’s a beauty.
What a mint cruiser it is now! Lots of hard work, now time to enjoy the fruits of the labour.
It came out beautifully. I wish you would have shown more of the build.
MAN that's sick. had a mate with a Bertram and ive owned one as well but that's NEXT LEVEL!
Just Awesome! Wonderful boat and i love how he brought it back from the brink with a whole lot of hard work. Great result! 👍
That is one sweet boat! Excellent job!
I think this is my fav boat the captain has featured. So cool
Mint job mate 👍
These old Bertie hulls are a good base for a project. Funny when I purchased mine I towed it the other way from Qld to Vic.
brisbane to sydney for my 20'
Now that's a nice boat.
Great job... Like the hard top and that layout is da stuff...
She turned out beautifully mate
Well done
Bertram are still made locally here. I have a proline 32 express. Also a local made boat. Great transformation on this vessel!
WOW what an amazing build, you should know how proud you are. The money is nothing when you see what you built. $120,000 dame nice.
Beautiful. Nice to see it out in Bertram weather.
Beautiful, you’ve got a lot to be proud of. Great job.
Great job and workmanship, you and your mates should be proud of how it turned out.
What a fantastic job ! Well done i love the wood work on the deck. Your mate the boat builder is very good at his trade.
Just sensational, well done 👍
Slick build
Beautiful Boat! Nice rebuild!
That’s a good looking Bertram 25 conversion.

Nice. I'm in Mackay and have a B23.
I need to see Finesse Marine about a pod for mine.
beautiful boat great job
great result for all your hard work. Now go enjoy it!
He's certainly right. That finish is next level.
I had a dog named Odin, a German Shepard and a Yellow Lab named Thor, they loved the water and going boating.
Wonderful refit on her !!!
Did this old Bertram right! What a beautiful boat now.
beautiful boat
Wow. What a makeover. Well done. 👍👏
I wonder if Jack McKenzie at Finesse has ever done a Betram 31' or 33' rebuild?? Great work!
130k that's really good compared to what you get these days for 150k this is amazing
Gorgeous boat! Thanks for sharing this.
Well it may have took a bit more than expected, but turned out super cool. I wish it was mine lol 😂
This thing is elite! Im running a bertram 20 and can’t fault the hull! Can’t wait to upgrade to a bigger beety one day! #bertylife
Well done... Like this boat. Solid dude
They make Bertram’s about 10 miles from my house in Tampa Florida!! The current hull shape looks exactly the same
Amazing. Well done!
Pretty cool boat alright, coming from a Stabi fan.
That is a damn nice boat
That boat needs a set of trim tabs. Trimmed out properly it'll ride like a whole nother boat. Nice job though. Very nice work.
it doesnt have trim tabs?
Sick!!! Beautiful job!
Nice job bro
Outstanding job
Beautiful, I would fish in a tuxedo in that🤙
An oldie but a goodie!.
Love the build
Where are the videos of this beautiful boat being put together?
This is exactly what I'm looking to do!!!!!
hey mate what’s that sanding tool you were using at the 3:05 mark, with the 4 arms? Or was that some kind of plunge cut tool for bilge holes?
Sick interior
Nice work!!
What a job!
Looks real good
Nice boat
I spit out my drink when you told us how much you paid for the carcass.
Great job resurrecting a classic though...
great boat! whats the tool the guy is holding at 3:04 ?
Top class mate
What kind of boat was the other one pictured in some shots, the grey and white hardtop?
Gorgeous work mate. Can you let me know how you go about towing it around in Queensland?
interesting how he is a diesel fitter but went with twin outboards!!
Awesome job! All that work, trailer and two 300 Suzies for "$130k" .... that would have cost $200k+ here in New Zealand.
Wow! U done amazing job I’d happily part with 130k for it for lol. Is it for sale haha. What an amazing machine. You inspired me to something special myself.
Great job
Would be the perfect weekend boat in the virgin island
This is exactly what I was planning to do, the thing that killed the project for me was having to rent a shed/workshop for a couple of years and that made it uneconomical. Ended up buying a Boston Whaler 255 Conquest and re powered with Suzuki 200’s with digital controls......
130k is insane cheap! What a boat
I thought the same. But you factor in 18 months of work. I'd be curious how many hours were put into it. It is an incredible build to say the least.
Hi mate great boat, Who did your hard top?
Did you move the gas tank? How many gallons? Just asking because of the weight shift with 2 zukes off the back.
tell us about your fiberglass engine bracket,
very nice conversion however why are the engines so low?
Deep vee hull
Gday mate who made your hard top,i live in Mackay also :)
Great job !!! ENJOY 😉
That has to be the fastest 25 Bertram in the world. My dad had one when I was growing up with twin 175hp. How fast is that?
Wow very nice.
It definitely is made for twin 300s outboards. Boat looks awesome but idc what anyone says a few years of beating will tell the story of why inboard boats didn't have outboards
It only does 52mph with twin 300s?! How heavy is that boat?!
I have look at this video over 50 times might hv share it the same
Love it!
Brilliant job, why not keep the fly bridge
Have you had a noble super bee on your show
