Man, what a great leader! I mean, this guy is giving 100% of the credit of his shop's work to his guys. I've been in the military for a lifetime and can immediately recognize amazing leadership. This is what right looks like. Managers and bosses take note.

A combination of increased buoyancy and increasing the height of the centre of gravity courtesy of the two outboards. Now we realise that building a seaworthy boat isn’t by chance and Bertram knew a thing or two about designing and building boats. Shame Yamaha doesn’t build a 300hp diesel sterndrive.
I had the option to swap to an outboard pod but kept the high speed turbo charged diesel engine. Rebuilt the engine, added a new Garrett ball-bearing turbo. The boat still has power with economy and fuel safety. Having no volatile fuel and no sparkplugs has got to be a good thing. Cheers
@@AquaMarine1000 i agree. There is a certain level of education and awareness around fuel, ignition and ventilation on boats that perhaps no longer exists in the general boating population. Safety is always a good idea and opening the cover after refueling to check for leaks and being vigilant with the blower are all imperatives!
When the Beast 2 was been reversed down the ramp I'm sure "flashbacks" of past disasters popped up right lads.... oh the shame and yes we the audience are still traumatized by the event too.
what did you do with your plug????. you hull extension covered the original.. I am curious bc I'm getting ready to do this with an identical hull. thanks
Pathetic, should have been tested before all that beauty work, add a gas tank at the back to increase your range. I have to run a lot of gas or mine is tipsy like that right from factory

Somewhere there is a Bertram designer cringing every time someone sticks an outboard on the back of a classic me included lol.
So glad I came across this! We were planning on doing something similar with our bracket. Saved us some heartache.🙂
